Nice but too expensive.

For use on hard floors, this device is WONderful! I havent found a place where I cannot adjust the position of the tablet holder to work for me. I noticed that a few reviewers said they couldnt get it adjusted low enough, but Ive been able to get it all the way down to my lap and even a bit lower with no problem in the chairs where Ive used it. I love being able to use my tablet hands free (well, except for pointing at the tablet) and being able to switch easily from portrait to landscape positions without having to remove the tablet from the stand. The whole thing is larger than I anticipated, which bothered me when I first received it, but now Im used to it. Two things I dont like: 1) Its very heavy, probably to keep it from tipping over, but it makes it more difficult to move on anything but a hard floor. 2) It *wont* move on the carpets in our house. I have to lift it a bit and carry it onto the place where I intend to use it, and then I cant move it without lifting it once its there. Might work better on berber carpet or carpet without much padding? Im thinking about getting some hard plastic runners to use in the bedroom where the carpet is thick. A tad awkward, but a possible workaround. I would *highly* recommend this stand to anyone whose floors arent all covered by thick carpet.

After reviewing several versions of floor stands I chose this one, and from day one I am completely satisfied. Putting it together was a breeze and the heavy base relieves any doubt of it tipping over. The ability to adjust it perfectly to the angle and height I need has taken the stress from my neck and shoulders from always looking down to view my IPad. And being able to use it while reclining or laying in bed is a blessing. Excellent craftsmanship Levo and it blends with my home decor, thank you for a fine product that is more than worth the price. Anyone searching for a floor stand to hold your electronic device or book I highly recommend this, you will not be disappointed.

I purchased this in 2017 and never really got around to using it until I got a Peloton Bike and Tread last year. It is the PERFECT accessory for working out and watching TV. Also when you need to do floor work you can lower it and watch the class on the Peloton app. Though it’s pricey, it really is worth every penny. I can’t say enough good about it. The base is very heavy and very sturdy. The clips to raise and lower it work easily. Buy one you won’t regret it!!!

Sturdy well built

I dont normally write reviews but I am taking the time to write this because of how impressed I am with this product. My father was a metal worker and owned his own shop in Nebraska. In the shop were milling machines, metal lathes, arc and acetylene welding equipment, and more. I always admired him for his brilliance, creativity, and attention to detail for solving seemingly impossible problems. I worked with him in my early years and, although I didnt devote my life to the craft, I know good workmanship when I see it. Unfortunately, much of the stuff that is for sale on Amazon is not crafted with this kind of care and dedication. That is also why I usually dont write reviews. Then along comes this company LEVO. In this product I see creativity, attention to detail, and fine workmanship. Every aspect of this floor stand is very well thought out and engineered. The base is very heavy which guarantees it will not fall over, even when the arms are fully extended. It is intelligently designed so as to be easily assembled. All the pieces fit together PERFECTLY. The ipad holder itself is easy to open and close. And with the ratchet style arms you are guaranteed to NEVER see your expansive pad fall from the stand. Although it isnt designed to be an art-piece to be adored for its physical beauty, it IS designed to be a functional, well thought out mobile ipad stand that will last forever. My hats off to this company, LEVO. I just wish they made an overbed bedside table for my girlfriend who is bedridden temporarily. (LEVO, if you are reading this, please consider designing one of these. The last one I ordered from AMAZON was so poorly engineered, I had to send it back.) UPDATE 2/22/2021 Since my first review I have ordered a 2nd LEVO Ipad Floor Stand Kiosk because I liked it so much. About a month ago, to my surprise, one of the clamps that holds the ipad came apart in my hand. Im guessing there was a bubble in the plastic that made it weak and prone to breaking. I sent an email to LEVO and received an answer from a REAL PERSON within 10 minutes. Without any hesitation they sent me a new ipad clamp assembly at no cost to me. Accidents happen. Sometimes a product is shipped with a defective part. What counts to me is customer service, willingness to make something right. This company is the best. I appreciate their integrity. Thanks LEVO!
