Full disclosure we bought this in desperation of helping me tolerate my kitchen smells during pregnancy. And it could be because Im farther along and less sensitive to smells, but I really think this makes a difference. When the kitchen starts to smell stale we plug this in and run it and I find it helps. I can see a future where we buy another one for our upstairs at some point because right now we rotate it where we need it smell wise, usually keeping it in the kitchen. I find it to be quiet for a running fan. The shape also reminds me of minions so I think its cute. This pregnant lady gives 5 stars for the purpose of our purchase!

My pulmonologist told me to buy the best HEPA filter I could afford two years ago. Foolishly I didn’t. With Canadian smoke enveloping our town, my asthma was bad. Found this filter. With good reviews in my price range. Moved unit to my bedroom and closed the door overnight. My eyes, throat and lungs were greatly improved. Thinking about second filter for living room.

I have had this for a few months now. I noticed a clear difference with the amount of dust in my bedroom. I also can see the dust on my filters when I change them! Worth the buy!! Considering buying more.

I love it! I breed rats for my pet snake to eat and it really helps keep their area stink free for days and it also helps keep it dry in their tank, usually its not recommended to keep them in a glass tank because it will start to get humid if its covered, so I created a wire top that goes over it but the smell still gets kinda gross because its still not getting enough airflow i assume. But this thing has literally eliminated all of the smells and keeps the air nice and clean for me and them!

It does a fantastic job. I bought it to clean air since I got a puppy a week ago. In just half an hour my apartment smelled so good, like never before. I wish I bought it much earlier.

I only just got this yesterday and used it last night for the first time but I feel compelled to write a quick review already. This thing is a game. changer. Ever since moving to Texas, I suffer from terrible seasonal allergies. I never have in my life until now (turns out Im allergic to a handful of trees that are native around here. Fun.) Some years are worse than others but this year is baaad. For the past few weeks my mornings have had me waking up congested and unable to breathe, blowing wads of snot out of my nose (sorry!), and with a itchy/scratchy sore throat. First thing I do is take an allergy pill and wait in misery until it finally seems to kick in around mid morning. (Ive had a terrible time finding meds that work too. It just sucks.) I dont know why I never thought to get an air purifier. I guess when I thought of air purifiers Id always think of the fancy Dyson ones that cost hundreds of dollars. I mean, puh-lease. Not happening. Then I found this little guy. Had great reviews, was the perfect little size for our master bedroom (216sqft), and reasonably priced with reasonably priced replacement filters. In a plee of desperation I talked my husband into us trying it. It got in yesterday (quicker than expected, yay!). I immediately unboxed it upon getting home from work and plugged it in. It says you only need to run it for about 15-20 minutes on high to cycle the room but I set that little baby on high with a two hour timer and let it run. When it was time for bed, I set the 6 hour timer on sleep mode. The sleep mode is great. Its a lot more quiet than I expected. I still expected to be able to hear a little white noise from it (which doesnt bother me at all) but unless I lift my head off the pillow and really listen, I can only just baaarely hear it. And I have it on my side of the bed about 3 feet away. Our home air system is louder than it on sleep mode. If you enjoy white noise, you could probably just run it on low and be fine. It has a button to turn off the indicator lights at night too so you dont have bright lights keeping you awake if thats a problem for you. Anyway, I woke up this morning with NO allergy symptoms. None. No congestion, absolutely clear nasal passages, and NO sore throat at all! Im blown away. Ill try to come back and revise this review if my opinion changes but after the first night and the relief I was FINALLY able to feel from my allergies this morning I absolutely rate this thing 5 stars. Worth every penny!

REVIEW UPDATE (May 7, 2023) Im the idiot! I didnt realize the filter was CAKED with dust when I was inspecting from the outside. The filter still looked clean from the outside, but when I actually took the filter out and ran my finger across the mesh exterior, SO MUCH DUST was there. I proceeded to clean all of the caked-on dust from the mesh and discard it. After reinstalling the [now clean] filter, it works like a charm. Great product and I will definitely purchase another one for my living room. OLD REVIEW Purchased this expecting it to eliminate most of the dust in my apartment (or at least the room its sitting in) but I swear it doesnt really do much. The filter barely seems dirty after almost a week of hard use and yet theres still tons of dust floating around. Doesnt pick up as much as I thought it would. Its alright but I just kinda expected a little more for the price.

This might be the best product I’ve ever owned. I know that sounds dramatic but it’s truly life changing. I have terrible allergies including being allergic to cats which I have two of. This helps tremendously. I put it in the same room as their litter boxes and the smell is completely gone. Like 100% gone. Not just masked or covered up. I’ve tried so many things to help with the smell and nothing has ever worked like this. I actually watched a clump of fur in the air get sucked into the machine… wow!! Super easy to set up, doesn’t take up too much space or look bad, love everything about it! Highly recommended especially if you have allergies and/or pets. If you’re considering getting this, get it!!!! (Also side note, I just used the regular filter that comes with this. I know they have one that’s specifically made to help with pet odors and allergies but so far I find the original one works great for me and my cats but if you have more animals or stronger odors and find the regular doesn’t work, try the pet-specific one?!) (I also use it on the highest setting and it does have a “white noise” sound to it but it doesn’t bother me personally and I don’t find it extremely loud.)

Larger than Id expected. But still fits perfectly in the 12x12x8 ft room. Quick and easy to set-up. The instructions were plain, simple, easy to understand. Really like the touch pad on top. No buttons, no clicks. When running on lowest setting, I dont hear it. Second setting is nothing but a bit of sound that quickly becomes nothing noticeable. Third setting is there but not annoyingly loud. The Sleep mode is practically silent. As for odour removal, the room its in tends to gather cooking and other odours from around the rest of the house. Within 45 minutes on the lowest setting, and the unit in a far corner, after Id cooked, there wasnt a trace of any cooking at all. And it keeps the room that fresh... with the windows closed, as they are in Winter. Id gone the route of cheaper purifiers. SO sorry I didnt just go for Levoit immediately. Will most likely be getting another (just in case, as it were). SUPER! Highly recommend you dont go for the less expensive. This is worth the investment!
