> 3 dayIt looked useful when scanning through the daily deals. It isnt. It is easy to put on a board or it a corner, but it isnt designed well to transfer that angle to a miter saw. I played with it for about a day and now it sits in the drawer with the GatorGrip and the Craftsman speed wrenches. They work in very specific situations, but in general I find it easier with traditional methods.

> 3 dayI just began working with trim carpentry and this tool has made it so easy to measure! Although I like doing math, it does slow things down just a bit to calculate the miter angles. This takes care of all that. It is very solid, not plastic and although Ive only been using it a short while it looks like it would last a very long time. So far Im happy with it and would recommend.

> 3 dayIve got a bunch of people working for me who are just plain abusive to tools. I have high expectations for the fit if trim mitres, so I supply these gauges for them. I bought a bunch of Starrett gauges based on their brand reputation and was surprised to see that they are made of plastic. My men promptly abused and broke them. I looked for a tougher version on Amazon and voila! This tough little guy popped up. I ordered a couple and distributed them. They hold up much longer than Starrett and are just as accurate! The marker lines and digits are the same size and pop just as well as the Starrett model making this gauge easy to read as well. Im impressed with the quality of this tool as well. Joint fit is very tight, and it has a firm gravity to it. It can definitely take some banging around and still provide clear and accurate measurements.

> 3 dayHad a plastic one but plastic decals peel off and can’t read very well so I got this aluminum one. It’s truly so much better to use. Use it quite a bit on my house remodeling for crown molding and baseboards. I have an octagon shaped house so the rooms have strange angles. Love it.

> 3 dayOverall, good product. My only downside to it is that the white lettering on the head is very faint and hard to read. Needs to be brighter and bolder printing on tool head. Also, when I received it, there was a large scratch/smudge on the outer numbered ring that will not wipe off or come off. I have contacted the vendor about it and will see what hap pens.
