Great quality for a very useful tool! If you have been looking at purchasing this tool and been reluctant to do so yet....buy it. A lot of folks gravitate towards the digital versions of these. For myself I like these more mechanical versions. I believe using and reading the increments on this tool help you to understand angles better than just simply reading a digital screen.

This is a good protractor for angle finding, used for things like making accurate cuts in crown molding. Contrary to some of the other reviews, although it is an American company, it is actually manufactured in China. The quality is quite high, and because it is aluminum it should be durable. It could have been improved by adding a vernier scale to allow it to be read to higher precision (my chop saw does have a vernier scale), but overall I am happy with the tool.
