Greater than one weekBUYERS BEWARE! It’s very contradicting that something like this is advertised at 1080p @144hz (Or 120hz) but yet the recommended settings was 1080p @60hz. (HDMI ONLY) I bought this monitor in hopes to have a great gaming experience at 120hz for my Xbox One X. Unfortunately I found it only works well at 60hz with FreeSync On. I’ve tried multiple modes @120hz on the monitor including the different options on my Xbox as well and it seems that this monitor is more directed towards a PC rather than console. Running @60hz was actually a better experience than trying to run @120hz (Yes Xbox One X can run 120hz if you change the TV settings specifically on the console settings) NOTE: On the instructions for set up included in the box, the recommended resolution was 1080p @60hz (HDMI ONLY) Also, The display port will only work for PC or something that is display port compatible. I’ve tried using a display port to HDMI conversion and it would say no signal even with free sync off. Picture quality isn’t too bad for a TN monitor but it can be noticeable if you don’t have the correct settings for your application. Overall I think this would be a decent buy for a competitive PC gamer, you would have ALOT more flexibility with the Display Port rather than HDMI. I fully believe in the positive reviews for this monitor but I would trust in using this as something for PC. As for Xbox, running @60hz would be your best option when using this monitor. For the money I would absolutely reconsider purchasing this monitor for console. NOTE: This Review was based upon Xbox One X ...NOT... Xbox Series X or S

> 3 dayIf you absolutely need 144hz at 1080p this monitor will certainly give you that but the trade off is VERY noticeable color banding. I returned after two weeks of use after I decided it was unusable for me. Buyer Beware.

> 3 dayHave had the monitor for just over six months. Has not been moved or jostled. Intense basing showed up and makes the monitor useless. LG monitors are usually reliable so surprised by this lack of QA.

> 3 dayFrom the moment this monitor turned on the picture quality was horrendous the picture looked grainy at 60hz and at 144 hz still had some wierd grainy blurry look and that was not the deal breaker. I was just browsing on it for coiple hours then I went to play a game and thats when I noticed the banding everywhere. The baanding looks even worse in person. It seems that recently there has been problems with this because it is only recentlh that reviews mention this. Absolutely do not buy this at the moment. I contacted LG they offered to repair it but I contacted amazon instead and they said return it. When I asked LG if it was normal for this type of panel they said a little bit of washed out colors is, but not this bad so something is going on. I wanted this monitor to be good because it looked amazing with my LG gl83a with a matching stand. I put a picture of my lg gl83 a for comparison even though it is ips Very Dissapointed I had to return a 5th monitor to amazon.

15-04-2025I dont know if its just the monitor I received or its just how LG TN panels, but the black uniformity on this is pretty bad, color becomes washed out during dark areas and it becomes somewhat grainy. Color banding is god awful especially in vibrant areas like over the water or the sky for pictures/games, as there are noticeable lines/washed edges across the color gradient. This ruins the otherwise smooth fast response time performance from the poor color ranges from this monitor, killing the immersion of videos and games. Im definitely returning. Hopefully this is just a lemon I got? Im too worried to rebuy this LG monitor so I went for another brand.
