> 24 hourI bought three of these for work when I transitioned to working from home. I also purchased a triple monitor stand as I have limited desk space and wouldnt have been able to use all three with their stock stands. I spent about thirty minutes calibrating so that the picture looked the same across all three monitors, not an issue if you are only buying one but a problem none the less that I ran in to. The stock HDMI cables are also not great, I wouldnt advise using them as I had several flickering problems on all monitors until I swapped out the cables, havent had the problem since. All in all, a good product with a few small QC issues but nothing that took away from their functionality once resolved.

> 24 hourAfter having been spoiled by LG monitors and TVs, I thought I would give it a shot and replace my current 5 year old 24 inch monitor with this one. I needed a good panel for my work and hobbies as well as a HDMI port, so, it seemed like a perfect match. Sadly, it didnt work out. I noticed the problems right when I first turned on the monitor. Black levels are virtually non-existent and the colors were totally off. Thankfully, LG monitors let you tweak the colors to your liking, so, that was something I could work with. After 2 hours of hard work, I had the colors as perfect as possible but, during the process, I discovered uneven back lighting as well as lots of light bleeding and IPS glow. At least that explained the non-existent black levels to some degree. On default settings, contrast and brightness are turned up high. Contrast was actually at the max 100%. With that settings, you could see some details in pictures, however, youd also turn blind after 8 hours working in that mode. Another issue with this monitor: when you reduce contrast and brightness, colors change, too. Youll have to do color tweaking all over again when adjusting brightness and contrast. I also noticed some heavy color crashing on this monitor. Color crashing is when you see a lot of pixelation, lines or curves on gradient colors instead of a smooth transition. None of the settings seemed to ease that; I tried anything I could think of. The viewing angles on this monitor are very narrow, too. A little up / down shift of your head or a little left and right movement will make the screen fade instantly. The built-in speakers work but they sound so tinny that youd prefer to not have them on at all. And, lastly, the power led. It seems to have a mind of its own. I set the led in the settings to off, however, whenever you wake up the computer / screen, the led is on. On standby it continuously flashes which is really annoying. I dont understand why LG would think that people would like that. I will be switching back to my old monitor. This one is just not for me. My recommendation: look elsewhere for a decent monitor. This isnt it!

> 24 hourGreat for use as a vertical monitor. I had three of these at one point and NONE of them could refresh at the advertised 75mhz. Now they all managed 74mhz, so.... whatever. For the price it should at least reach 75. Doesnt have a vertical menu option despite being essentially made to be used vertically.

> 24 hourThese are decent monitors, a perfect 3 stars. You can see my attached photo - they look nice have good color representation and have nice slim bezels. There are some drawbacks which is why I take off 2 stars. For one, as other other reviewers have mentioned, the sleep lights on these things are super annoying. I too have them in my room and figured it would not be a big deal when I first bought them, but it is proving to get really annoying. Every time I let my computer go to sleep I have to manually turn the monitors off, otherwise the white led will blink and light up my room at night like a dance club. This annoyance really adds up over time. Second, I took another star off because even though the bezels are slim, they could be even slimmer if LG had put in slightly more effort. There is a silver plastic strip around the edges while the actual monitor bezel is much smaller. If they had went with a seamless design like Apple has for it’s iMacs, the bezel would be an additional 2 mm thinner and almost invisible. When you have dual monitors you don’t want anything other than black on the edges; yet LG decided to go with silver.

> 24 hourI wanted to use these monitors mainly for software development. So 1080p and 60hz was enough for me. Also, I am powering these with my dell xps 15 9560. I am using the dell wd15 dock which drives 2 displays and charges my machine. The third display is connected to the hdmi port on the laptop. Pros - Nice Panel decent speakers VESA mounting ! small bezels on all 4 sides. Makes it a champ in any multi monitor config Cons - Window management software is crappy - makes my system lag build quality is flimsy - the backside goes inside the body if you put force on the ports no display port no USB nipple button standby lights ! - so annoying If you want a monitor dont let the cons let you down. It is a great monitor with a really nice panel

> 24 hourReally nice monitor. My son received three from me and other family members for Christmas. He is 18 and wanted a certain type of set up for his new apple computer. They worked out very nicely. Great picture and looks just as shown.

> 24 hourI bought two of these during the last Cyber Monday deal and I really enjoy them. The picture is bright and the refresh rate seems to sync better with my graphics card that my previous monitors. When my Bluetooth headset runs out of power during gameplay, the built in speakers on the monitors is good backup. The screen hugs the edges of monitor so closely that having a couple of these side by side almost has a seamless look of an extended desktop. I recommend.
