After having been spoiled by LG monitors and TVs, I thought I would give it a shot and replace my current 5 year old 24 inch monitor with this one. I needed a good panel for my work and hobbies as well as a HDMI port, so, it seemed like a perfect match. Sadly, it didnt work out. I noticed the problems right when I first turned on the monitor. Black levels are virtually non-existent and the colors were totally off. Thankfully, LG monitors let you tweak the colors to your liking, so, that was something I could work with. After 2 hours of hard work, I had the colors as perfect as possible but, during the process, I discovered uneven back lighting as well as lots of light bleeding and IPS glow. At least that explained the non-existent black levels to some degree. On default settings, contrast and brightness are turned up high. Contrast was actually at the max 100%. With that settings, you could see some details in pictures, however, youd also turn blind after 8 hours working in that mode. Another issue with this monitor: when you reduce contrast and brightness, colors change, too. Youll have to do color tweaking all over again when adjusting brightness and contrast. I also noticed some heavy color crashing on this monitor. Color crashing is when you see a lot of pixelation, lines or curves on gradient colors instead of a smooth transition. None of the settings seemed to ease that; I tried anything I could think of. The viewing angles on this monitor are very narrow, too. A little up / down shift of your head or a little left and right movement will make the screen fade instantly. The built-in speakers work but they sound so tinny that youd prefer to not have them on at all. And, lastly, the power led. It seems to have a mind of its own. I set the led in the settings to off, however, whenever you wake up the computer / screen, the led is on. On standby it continuously flashes which is really annoying. I dont understand why LG would think that people would like that. I will be switching back to my old monitor. This one is just not for me. My recommendation: look elsewhere for a decent monitor. This isnt it!

The stand can barely support the monitor. The screw that goes in the bottom is way too short and keeps falling apart. The box also said it came with a VGA cable and it did not. This is too much of a pain to return at this point, so I’ve used tape to keep the base together. So much for getting a monitor based on its looks.

I regret buying this monitor. The stand has neither height adjustment not tilt adjustment. I have to put the monitor on a box and insert shims to use it. On top of that, the resolution is poor. Text is too large.

For $200 I strongly believe this is the best monitor youll find. Picture quality is decent and the size is useful for every day use. It is obviously not top of the line resolution but youll be hard pressed to find a monitor better for the price. The design is also sleek and bevel is minimal so I really like it in my space.

Found an open box buy for $50 cheaper than the new product making this worth the buy as a 2nd display. Quite lightweight and works well with my adjustable arm-type monitor stand. (the included doesnt look like its that great)

This bezel less LG Monitor is amazing and its cheap. It looks even better when its wall mounted. No complaints at all. The silver and white is actually a nice color combination. Not really a fan of white monitors but the no bezel look made look past the white. I own a few Samsung TV/monitors in black/silver but this white/silver LG color is sexy.

Great for use as a vertical monitor. I had three of these at one point and NONE of them could refresh at the advertised 75mhz. Now they all managed 74mhz, so.... whatever. For the price it should at least reach 75. Doesnt have a vertical menu option despite being essentially made to be used vertically.

I bought two of these during the last Cyber Monday deal and I really enjoy them. The picture is bright and the refresh rate seems to sync better with my graphics card that my previous monitors. When my Bluetooth headset runs out of power during gameplay, the built in speakers on the monitors is good backup. The screen hugs the edges of monitor so closely that having a couple of these side by side almost has a seamless look of an extended desktop. I recommend.

Bought 4 of these. Love them. I sit at my desk for about 10 hours a day and these are the best monitors Ive had in awhile. crystal clear picture.

Bought as a WFH monitor. Great asthetics for a home office, however stand is very wobbly. Overall decent monitor for the price but 1080p resolution is just outdated, even for a monitor this size. Picture quality is quite bad and pixelated, even for just basic email and web browsing. Color and contrast of this monitor are also quite poor. Image looks very washed out. This one will be going back.
