LG Valve 5221ER1003A and 5220FR2075L

Quick and easy replacement, and only took 10 minutes.

This is the third replacement Ive had to make since we got our LG washer in 2009. These valves always develop a leak after about 3 years of use. Thankfully theyre relatively easy to replace. This one is improved on the previous 3 valves, however, in that it closes more slowly and doesnt produce the loud water hammer effect.

Product works fine and was easily installed

The cold water inlet valve was a perfect replacement for the valve that leaking on our LG washer. It solved the problem at a very reasonable price, plus it was simple to install.

I bought a used 2003 Samsung washer and it had a major leak out the back. Did alittle research and found this! The only downside is it wasn’t the same color but plus side is it was the same exact part as I needed!

Easy to install; 15 minutes with a screwdriver and pliers. Give it a quick test via the troubleshooting menu (soil+spin speed while powering on), and your all set. The problem in my case was minerals in the water that slowly clogged the valve- be sure you clear out the water feed hoses to make sure you dont quickly clog the new valve as well.

This part was exactly what was needed to replace the 10 year old valve that began to leak! Easily installed. Saved about $400 in estimated repair costs.

A place that rhymes with ears arts direct wanted $75 for this cold water valve and these folks had it for $20. Price was excellent. Shipping was fast and well packaged. Installation was cake and pie. The fact that this lovely little piece of kit saved me from having several gallons of water come gushing out of my front load washer? Priceless!
