> 3 dayThese are so cute. My kids really like them. They are withstanding use from Teens and not broken. Sturdy and well made.

> 3 daySo one of these worked fine without any issues. One was permanently lit up (meaning the batteries would constantly need to be changed), and one didn’t work at all. With about ten minutes of work I was able to get that one working (and permanently broke the other), so in the end I have two light up umbrellas, and three umbrellas I can use. Amazon did give me a 50% discount in the end, so I probably ended up ahead, but who knows how long these will last.

Greater than one weekProduct decent value for the money. Fun and functional! Also has extra flashlight on bottom... seems especially ideal for urbanites and apartment dwellers. All three worked, color and light quality is good. Only downside is that these didn’t come with the carry shoulder bags as advertised. Others that reviewed did receive these, so this might be a seller-specific issue. Otherwise, these do NOT have any covers and come wrapped in cheap plastic that can not be reused for storage or as a makeshift cover.

> 3 dayThe set of three lightsaber umbrellas was just what the younger generation (kids) of our family needed. The light is admittedly cool and makes the rainy day fun. It doesnt necessarily provide any functionality other than maybe better visibility (i.e., in city traffic) on a grey day. The canopy is basic and only folds in a straight manner, which keeps the umbrella long even in the folded state. Of course, the lit sticks are not telescoping anyway. The handle is relatively long as it contains the battery compartment (three AAA batteries per umbrella), and buttons for the light as well as an integrated flashlight at the bottom. The latter turns on and off by pushing the lens. Its not very bright but can be helpful in some situations where a little bit more light is needed. The light colors of the lightsaber can be cycled with the switch on the side of the handle. Its a bit odd that both opaque canopied umbrellas have more colors to cycle through than the clear canopy. I think the latter doesnt have a red color, which seems odd since they seem otherwise identical. Of course, the opaque ones (black and dark grey) are actually fabric, while the clear canopy naturally appears to be plastic (vinyl?). Mine stuck together a bit at first and the umbrella seemed stuck until all folds were separated. The light distribution is fairly even from the handle to the tip. The canopy is fully manual, and there is no automatic of any kind. It shouldnt be the end of the world having to manually open and close the umbrella, but for some, that may be a deal-breaker. Overall, these are three cool umbrellas with basic functionally supplemented by cool lighting effects and an occasionally helpful flashlight. Of course, this set will set you back 9 AAA batteries, and pretty soon you invested more in battery replacements than the set costs. That also is an expression of the low price of the set. Its advertised as windproof and we have not been able to test them with that in mind, but there are no vents or anything to allow wind to pass through. So the umbrella claims to be sturdy enough to take the wind. (Only time will tell.)

> 3 dayGood set for the price. Works well in the rain and have had no issues with battery life. They are neat for the kids, and I enjoy using them when I have to walk the dog at night. Never had to use the little flashlight at the bottom because the handle is so bright.

> 3 dayThese are awesome just from the novelty standpoint. The shaft is sturdy and lights up with a perfect LED color to give you that lightsaber effect. It’s a low tech umbrella, not push button, but less parts to break. I wouldn’t say the top is the sturdiest out there but it has held up to kid use so far. I walk through the city in the evening so toward the end of my walk it will be dark so Injust adore the safety of the LED and convenience of the built in flashlight. The size is good for 1 person. For a 3 pack it’s a nice deal.

> 3 dayI always get compliments from strangers on how cool/unique these umbrellas are. Highly recommend, just wish it was a bit bigger. Wide enough for a full grown adult but not 2. Also better quality then you would think.

Greater than one weekThese look just as cool as I had hoped they would. The clear one is my favorite, but they all look great. They are also fine at keeping rain off of my head, and the bonus flashlight on the bottom of each one is nifty. Overall, these are definitely cool— They are great for fans of quite a few movies and TV shows, but also just for people who want something that looks fabulous and different from a plain umbrella.
