This appeared to be exactly like the original part. It was very easy to install, I think it took less than five minutes. We are very happy.

Exactly same part as OEM Mercedes. Mercedes ensignia is milled off to sell at lower price. Chrysler dealer part is over 300.00. Refer to picture.

Looks to be OEM as it came in a Stabilus-branded package. As others have mentioned, the Mercedes branding has been ground off the plastic sleeve. But thats fine with me. It fits my Crossfire perfectly, unlike some of the other Crossfire specific struts that are listed on Amazon. Install took all of 2 minutes. Save yourself the headache of trying to find some off-brand that fits and get this one instead.

Perfect fit for my 2004 Crossfire. Mine finally stopped working and this was the only place I could find a replacement that wasn’t Rock Auto. It says aftermarket on the packaging but I honestly can’t tell the difference between this one and my stock hood support. Perfect match/fit. Thank you so much
