There was nothing wrong with the package, and I should have paid closer attention to the description. This is not the quilted Vera Bradley backpack. It is more like Jansport material.

I purchased this bag for my high school student who needs to carry four 1 1/2 inch binders and a lunch container, as well as two textbooks. There is ample room for all of these in the bag, and can still fit a hoodie and water bottle. This new material is much more sturdy than the cloth of previous Vera Bradley bags that we have owned. She absolutely loves it! There is a hidden pocket for her cell phone, and the straps are comfortable and are designed to distribute weight more evenly. The price tag is a bit much, but if the bag holds up, we may determine it to be more cost effective than buying a new bag every year.

This is my second VB backpack. This updated version is much roomier and had the added luggage sleeve which now makes it perfect!

My daughter picked out this backpack for kindergarten! It’s a beautiful print and size.

This was to be a replacement for another Vera Bradley backpack. Thought it would be exactly the same but in fact there are less zipper/pockets on this one than the original we bought directly from Vera Bradley. Design change it seems. Otherwise. Lightweight and durable.

It’s a really cute backpack, great for travel. It looks so cute with my new suitcase. It’s also nice for the beach because my shoulder gets sore with regular one sided beach bags. There are lots of pockets, and it’s made very well.

I love it! Great backpack a total must have! Its perfect for any highschool girl.
