The ring around the planet is pretty hard. Very cute toy but returned because I was concerned about my son swinging it around and clocking himself with it.

My son recently had to undergo open heart surgery and when i say this toy was a LIFE SAVER, i mean it. It kept him very occupied and entertained for a good amount of time .

My child is 13 months old, he played with this toy for less than 30 minutes and was able to pop out one of the suction cups and was chewing on it. Scariest moment ever, thankfully I was close and saw that he had gotten it off. This toy is cheaply and poorly made to fall apart so easily, mind you, I played with this and inspected it before giving to him. The piece he was able to break off is the perfect size to choke on and I seriously CAUTION any parent against giving this toy to a baby/child (who this toy is intended for). Greatly disappointed and scared for any other children who are not aware of how easily this comes apart. Be careful and DO NOT BUY THIS! PLEASE!

Bought it for my 3y/o autistic grandson. He loves it!!!!! In fact all my grandkids love it, even the 7y/o. Well worth the money.

I love all the different ways to play with this toy. There is pulling, pushing, pressing.. tolerant to chewing and textures are great for new explorers. I purchased this for a new 2 year old but could totally work for a much younger baby. This is be a go-to gift for little ones.
