I have a lot of small emery boards like Revlon, the disposable kind. My husband put in a request for something a bit more substantial as his nails frequently need grooming. He’s way not into those smaller emery boards things, but loved these. There’s a 180-grit nail file on one side of the file and a 100-grit file on the reverse side. These files are solid with enough give to them so he can work with his nails. He stated that the two grits would last him a long time and he was right. One good thing about these files, which surprised me, is that they can be washed and disinfected. Very pleased with these files and would highly recommend it. This pack of 10 deluxe Japanese professional nail files will definitely help you in your acrylic nail sanding. They could also be used for small crafts to get into smaller areas. I like how each of them is flexible yet very durable. I have used similar nail files and these have a strong core which means they are more sturdy. I also like that they are washable and you can disinfect them, too. Another nice thing is that it has two grits on each. 100 and 180. The 100 grit is supposed to be for hard and artificial nails where the 180 is smoother and is better for the nail edge. However, when I have tried these on my normal nails they do not seemed to give a smooth surface. I would only advise these for artificial nails only. When I use it for my regular nails it left small jagged areas and unfortunately my nails tore afterwards. I also wish they would mark which side is the 100 and which is the 180 to makes work easier and faster.

These files are really great! I wear gel polish and end up going through files rather quickly because I change my polish often and always have to file off at least the top layer. These are easy to use -- their curved shape makes filing quick, and theyre comfortable to hold, as well. At the current list price of $12.98 for a 10-pack, I feel these are an excellent value. Im very pleased with these files. Highly recommend.

I use nail files so much and I normally buy packs that include of more items but I was interested to try this one. This set includes of totally 10 pieces of curved nail files that you can use both sides. One side is 100 and the other one is 180 which are the most common hardness for nail files. The quality is pretty good and they work very well but if you use them on acrylic nails without using any nail drills, they wont last so long.

Japanese style nail files from Singapore these file come in a package of 10 (2 each of 5 colors). Each of the colors is the same grit 100/180. The plain side is 100 grit which is more rough and the side with the writing is 180 grit which is less rough. I use these on natural nails and have used the 100/180 grit for years. I like to use the 100 grit for shaping my nails and the 180 grit for smoothing the shape and they worked very well. I like the shape of the files and the colors help me to know which ones I have used and need to disinfect. And besides, when the files are stacked side by side, they are bright and make me smile. I can use the 100 grit to scratch up the top coat of my nails before soaking the gel or dips off and that helps them come off much more easily and quickly. At the time of this review, these are a good deal at just over $1 each. Recommend these.

I have been in nail school for a month and a half now and have been using these for filing and shaping nails in class and they work great! I love the fun and different colors as well as the different grit on both sides. These work great for shaping and buffing! Highly recommend!

These files are mediocre. One side is very rough, at 100 grit. The other side is finer, at 180 grit. Not sure that most people would make use of the 100 grit side, it feels far too rough. And the files also are too thick for those with very short nails. Also, though the files are rainbow colored, all the files in the pack are duplicates, same grit level, so they’re not varying degrees of file grit.

These are best files I have been able to purchase in a long time, I love the curve and the durability of the file itself. The files work great.

These nail files are a great size and shape. 100 and 150 grit. They are great for taking the top coat to make soaking easier. I wish the pack also came with a higher grit file to really smooth the edges of my nails.
