> 3 dayTitle said it all. Its comfortable Lightweight Very clear Comfortable ratcheting head gear Easy to swing closed by nodding your head... You can actually hear and feel the gears. When upright it doesnt tend to fall downwards unintentionally like cheaper no name helmets. Its a really good comfortable helmet. Goes up to shade 13. For around $100 you cant go wrong. Its Lincoln quality. Works great highly recommended.

11-06-2025Flashes me occasionally when Im welding consistently for a while. Headband sometimes hurts the back of my head when wearing it for several hours but other than that its a great deal if you dont weld a lot or if you are a beginner welder. Only cons are getting flashed, its gonna teach you the value of a really high quality helmet.

> 3 dayIt is light is is value for money however it did not last. I only used it three times in the last 32 days and it no longer auto darkening

> 3 dayThe feature auto darkens, so be sure to adjust it to the material and conditions immediately at hand. The controls are good and the helmet is well made. Also, consider putting it into an old pillowcase to keep it from getting banged up and scratched in storage.

Greater than one weekIm not a real welder. I weld things now and then, and I can do an okay weld when I need to. I had an Antra dimming helmet with specs similar to this ones. It was okay, but it was slow to darken and would quit working without warning. This helmet feels solid but not heavy. The band is wide and comfortable. The nod-to-drop works very well. The undimmed view is very good, brighter than the Antra. Dimming is so fast that its seamless transition from undimmed room light to dimmed arc light. I dont see the arc at all before dimming. This uses standard batteries and the batteries are accessible and very easy to replace. This was very welcome, as the Antra used flat coin batteries and it was absolutely awful to open it up to change batteries. I compare because the Antra was less than half the price and that was attractive for an occasional welder. This Lincoln Electric helmet was expensive for me, but I should have bought this helmet the first time. Its more than I wanted to pay, but I feel safer.
