> 3 dayA well made helmet but is too dark when TIG welding steel. You have to barely adjust off of the grind setting to use. Compared to an Antra that has 3-5 and 9-13 darkness settings.

> 3 dayTitle said it all. Its comfortable Lightweight Very clear Comfortable ratcheting head gear Easy to swing closed by nodding your head... You can actually hear and feel the gears. When upright it doesnt tend to fall downwards unintentionally like cheaper no name helmets. Its a really good comfortable helmet. Goes up to shade 13. For around $100 you cant go wrong. Its Lincoln quality. Works great highly recommended.

> 3 dayI purchased this welding hood for maintenance at work. Pros It’s really simple and affordable with the auto dimming knob on the outside! I prefer this over the inner control because it makes going from grinding to welding much easier, and for me I work in a rock quarry so it’s not a clean environment. This helps control any unwanted mud or dirt from actually going inside your hood! Great function. Cons Small view slot but that’s all I can complain about

Greater than one weekWhile the harbor freight and other discount tool place helmets work ok, I was having trouble with TIG work. This one just works.

> 3 dayGot it in today. Ordered the glossy black but got the “lone star”. Not a big deal, will still serve its purpose

> 3 dayThe only problem I had was that the headgear was not assembled quite right, but after loosening it up and getting things in the correct position, it was very comfortable and easy to use. The helmet worked well, passing the sun test, which apparently a lot of the off brands do not. It improved my welds considerably being able to see where I was starting my welds. Would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayIm a hobby welder. I bought other helmets but they did not protect my eyes as well as this helmet does. Spend the extra money to protect your eyes, you only get one set of eyes folks. This takes 2 AA batteries and they are easy to replace.
