Litter Genie Refill (6 Pack)

Excellent product. It just needs an indicator for when you are on your last bag.

I wish I had discovered this years ago! I have 2 kitties, and the Litter Genie and refills make daily clean-up a breeze, while keeping odors at bay. I have litter boxes in 2 locations, and have a Litter Genie in both spots. Once I figured the set-up the first time, its now a quick change out for batch waste and to replace with a new refill canister.

The Litter Genie is amazing! it really does help reduce sandbox odor. There are three major issues I have with the refills though. I have 3 adult cats. Each refill doesnt last very long which means it is actually quite expensive. Also: There is a design issue in that when changing the cassette (the refill,) finding the end of the bag can be frustrating. If you happen to grab a part of the bag that is not the end, you will find yourself pulling the entire bag out of its housing trying to find the actual end. Then it is nearly impossible to put the unused portion back in the cassette. I have thrown an unused one away out of frustration. Lastly, when you come to the end of the refill, sometimes there is no indicator that it is the end. When this happens, sand, etc. can get everywhere which is revolting and unhealthy. They really need to better indicate where the beginning and end of the bag is and if they arent going to make the refills last longer, reduce the price. I reiterate, I do like the product its just that it needs work.

Clever idea, keeps odor containedd

I love my litter genie. It allows me to scoop about 2-3wks of poo (one cat) before having to move to the next section of bag. Overall, one refill lasts over 6mths. Because there is a divider from where you deposit waste from the litter box, into the holding area, no smells leak from old litter. Think diaper genie for cats.
