Its a great scoop. It may be slightly larger than 3 quarts when filled to the top.

Competitively priced at your local farmstore. I drilled a bunch of quarter inch holes in the end of the scoop and use it to sift cat pellet litter. Warning: The drilled holes leave a lot of plastic burrs which is time consuming to remove, plus the plastic is brittle so IMO required drilling pilot holes. Its a cheap sifter, but maybe Id go in another direction the next time.

Great for making scoop for beach metal detecting. Would be great on the farm as it is sturdy. Nice quality product.

Used for dog food. After 6 months the handle bent and cracked.

I can use this scoop to fill several small feeders or one large one. It is convenient and I make fewer trips to the chuck wagon.
