A birthday gift for my grandson

I purchased this for my 2 year old nephew and he loves it. His dad assembled it quickly with no tools. I like that the height is adjustable. My only complaint is that for the cost of the product, it all should have been packaged better, maybe be wrapped in a plastic bag before it was put into a box. Also, upon opening the box, I noticed that the three small basketballs that were included had lesser air and required inflating. Overall though it is great.

Says it all, right? Enough sand to fill this would cost $70 (Mar 2023). Id thought Id just fill it with some of the big rocks littering the edge of the yard... but unfortunately, the normally excellent engineers at Little Tikes designed this with a hole just over ONE INCH for the sand. Youll want a funnel to go with that sand. Otherwise, outstanding little product, so I gave 4 stars. Grandson is 2, hes gonna love it. Will wait a year or 2 before putting the net on.

My three year old grandson loves it.

Algebraic style coordination, small and large muscle coordination and team vs team ... teaches competition early on I had all boys this stayed in use for a long time. They especially loved it when there were older/bigger and could walk by and drop one in...seems to have a great satisfaction for them! Also leads to the hoop on the garage, then the one at school playgrounds (I was always in attendance so some were later in the evening) Its like pool which is also algebraic style coordination, run..wobble PLAN the shots the banks the backboard...that all begins here. They get very good at BBall. They were in the city water polo and swim teams, roller hockey, t-ball then little league, AYSO, homework..My husband had died when my youngest was in the womb so I worked but needed to finish off my schooling so we all did homework together. I totally unplugged NO CABLE nada the television. I would rent they could pick they had parameters and I saw WAY TO MANY Chinese martial arts movies but I wanted my boys (I had all boys) to develop an IMAGINATION, play pretend, make and keep friends build lopsided forts in my back yard (Merciful land lord) I wanted my boys to have what I had - to be a kid! No gaming at all not even Game Boys Lots of arguments about that cuz billy up the street this and that...I must say they ALL did and are doing the same with their boys...Ive not on daughter or granddaughter...HOW SAD!! Because between 13-14 boys turn into Guys and you totally dont see that coming the first time! Then they wont go to the mall with you yada yada yada...and shopping for them becomes a military black ops mission! We will enter the mall at such and so we will park the car at so & sos store, we will walk in take the first left on the first floor. You will NEVER try to show me clothes you like etc etc etc... Honestly! Their friends all called me Moms etc...it isnt like ppl didnt know they were mine and I was OH HORRORS OH NOESSS with them ... just to pay. Ah Yes Now it begins again@

I love the weight and feel of the balls compared to some other mini basketball kits out there. When you hit all net from across the room, the swish is really rewarding. Someday my daughter will learn to love this toy as much as I do.

My 1.5 year old loves it. He plays with it from the moment he wakes up.
