Greater than one weekThe Little Tikes 2 in 1 Snug and Secure swing fit my 7 month old grandson with a little room to spare. It mounted into two large eye hooks screwed into a 7 foot high wooden beam. This allowed the swing to be 4 feet above the floor so the child was within easy grasp. Be prepared to control your urge to push too high because the child’s gonna giggle and wiggle with delight the higher you go.

> 3 dayOur 11 month old daughter loves this swing. The only negative is depending on your situation you will possibly need to provide your own bolts/mounting hardware and chain if the height is not what you would want. Overall this is a great value and I’m sure all kids will love it.

> 3 dayI had this swing out of the box and in our swing set in seconds. It’s easy to use and comfortable for the kiddos. It’s sturdy and buckles the kids in so they are safe.

> 3 dayMy daughters had the 1980s version of this Little Tikes swing, and now my 1 year old granddaughter is enjoying the updated model, which has the added safety shoulder straps. It took me about 20 seconds to install on existing hooks on our swing set used by my older grandchild. No problems attaching or releasing the shoulder straps. It takes slight maneuvering to adjust the length of the straps, so I was glad to have another adult with me while fitting them to the baby in the swing the first time. Being Little Tikes, its sturdy and seems well resistant to weather. But since there are weeks between granddaughter visits I find it easy to store inside, hanging from a closet rod. Great purchase, good price.

> 3 dayGreat product. The snaps to hold the child in place are plastic and hard to remove. Recommend using the same product used in car seats.

> 3 dayOverall, we like it as its served its purpose. But for the cost, we wished that there would be some quality improvements on the safety harness. In particular, there are two areas that could use improvement. First, the safety belt could be more easily adjustable so that kids of different sizes could share this more easily. We recognize that theres a tradeoff between safety and convenience, but we swear weve seen these types of belt systems still be very secure and more easily adjustable in length. This isnt a major issue though; 1st world problems. The second issue was more concerning to us. The section where the safety belt buckles in is just a plastic friction fit. Its relatively easy to snap close (not smooth, but good enough). However, to undo it, its quite dangerous, especially for a someone who might have longer nails. You have to exert quite a bit of pressure to push it out of the locked position and the weight of the child on the swing could cause the swing to fall down on your hand. I could see a fingernail (or finger for that matter) getting caught and broken. For the cost of this swing, it would be nice if they could find a safer clasp mechanism.
