> 3 dayThis kit works great in my aquarium. The scissors and tweezers make aquascaping easy and helps to keep my arms out my tanks. I rinse the tools off after each use and they have not rusted as other reviewers have alleged. The bag is handy to keep them all together. The scraper is a bit flimsy, but I do not use it, and hence the four star rather than a five star rating

> 3 dayThe tools look nice and work well, only thing that kinda bothered me was the scissors wasn’t very smooth when you use it to cut, the sharpness is just fine, it just feels as if the scissors always scrapes itself as it cuts. For the price I can’t really complain much, it is definitely worth it.

> 3 daySave your money.... dropped the uneven angled tweezers, from about 3 feet in the air onto a carpet floor and the weld broke. Its not even welded together by the 2 so called spot welds, and once it broke apart it was easy to see only 1 of the 2 spot welds were made in the first place. The tools are really easy to bend and even the pivot point on the scissors looks like its about to fail...after only 3 times of using it to trim aquarium plants.

Greater than one weekThis aquascaping set isnt even worth the low price point in my opinion. Its sufficient for general use of caring and cleaning a tank, but not ideal for live plants... Or maybe I just got a lemon batch? PROS: - Purchased 2-3 months ago and no signs of rust or corrosion, no issues with black finish chipping/peeling off. I do thoroughly wipe the tools dry after each use. - Substrate rake/pusher is the best piece in set, works great and serves its purpose well. - Set includes a nice quality microfiber drawstring bag and little silicone bands & caps to protect tool form and tips. CONS: - Curved scissors are fairly useless. Theres an open gap between the blades when closed and open. Its impossible to manicure smaller plants. The finger holes are yuge with no grip or anchor notch. I have fairly large hands for a female and even my monster-size Hubs had a hard time gripping them. - Both straight and curved forceps are quite flimsy, especially the tips also not fitting flush. The inner sides are etched for gripping, but still hardly gets the job done. You have to squeeze the tweezers very close to the tips in order to grasp an object, defeating the purpose of long tools. * If youre serious about getting into the beautiful and highly addictive hobby of planted aquariums - I do not recommend this set and definitely would spend the extra cash for better quality steel & construction
