I was so excited to get this carrier for my second kid. With my first I used the original ergo but I wanted something extra for my second child because I knew I would use it a lot. Here is my list of complains 1. I have a bush defined waistline despite extra baby weight. The belt sits so high on my back because of it that the front no longer presses against my body so when the baby is in the carrier he slides lower than the should. 2. Because of the above - the back support goes so high on my. Back that it’s useless 3. The neck support is so small. My son is now 2.5m and still needs it but if I pick it up his head is squished against my body. 4. The arm straps are very bulky. I’m 5’4” 160lbs at the moment and when I lower my arms down I feel the straps and it’s uncomfortable. 5. Hood can’t be tucked away fully 6. When you narrow the seat, the folded straps and snaps are bulky and uneven - I wouldn’t want to sit on that 7. The mesh is super thick and cushioned. Even when the panel is opened, it’s very thick and hot. No air will get through that one. I was hoping for an actual mesh. I am still using this carrier but I will be shopping for another one for summertime.

A little big for mommy but she only weighs 95 lbs and is 4’11” . Works great for dad.

My daughter is four months old and we have been using this carrier since she was around a couple of weeks old. It is nice that it can adjust to the size of your baby. At times when our daughter has been fussy, this seems to be the only thing that will calm her down. She also enjoys going for walks in it. My husband wears it more than I do, and in fact, I would say that it seems to fit him better. I have yet to get the shoulder straps to fit comfortably [they seem to be too big for my frame and Im of average build]. My other complaints are: 1) It is difficult to snap the back buckle unassisted 2) The straps are rather long and dangle; it would be nice if there was an easy way to secure them 3) Its not compact due to the structure of the waist strap 4) Its challenging to adjust the straps, once the carrier is on. Regardless, Im glad we have it and I think well use it until our daughter outgrows it. It seems to be well made, so I feel like it will last a long time.

It won’t solve your back problems but as someone who had lower back pain even before getting pregnant and glad it doesn’t make it worse like literally all other carriers I’ve owned.

I did a lot of research into different carriers while pregnant with my last baby. The lillebaby Complete All Seasons seemed to have the most features and versatility (carry positions and child weight/age range). And bonus, you dont need an infant insert like many other carriers! I can comfortably carry my newborn and 35lb 3 year old. They both love it too! My only problem now is that I am hooked on lillebaby carriers and want more (there are so many different patterns and styles available)! It is easily adjustable and the option to open the panel to allow more airflow is a must in the hot climate where I live. One of my conserns when looking for a soft structure carrier was if it would be too big on me; I am only 53 and 120 when not pregnant, but this lillebaby fits me great! I guess the only negatives are that (1) if you roll the airflow panel down, you cant use the zipper pocket in front (which for me isnt an issue because I cant see myself using such a tiny pocket for anything). (2) I cant seem to pull the hood up by myself when back carrying. And (3) I cant use the removable back support because it is so wide that I am unable to tighten the waist band completely around my waist.

Undeniably the nicest child carrier on the market. Weve always used a Snugglie carrier, which only lasts a few months before infants grow out of them. Then weve tried different backpack-style carriers with frames and pockets and self-standing options that sort-of work when youre out on the trail. However, these types of carriers often have the child set out behind the adult enough that long-distance carrying becomes uncomfortable in the shoulders, due to the forward leaning required to offset the childs weight hanging several inches off the upper back. Then, 3 years ago I borrowed an ergo carrier for my third son while we moved, and it was so incredibly convenient in the airports, on the planes, and during the transition phase of house hunting and settling! And it kept my little boy so close to me, which was comforting for him awake and asleep, even once when he got sick. I returned the ergo carrier to its owner, and never bothered to purchase my own because my little boy soon was walking. Now, I have a special needs daughter who will be a little girl longer than most girls are babies and toddlers. I knew I had to get one of these!! This carriers weight limit of 45 lb. is ideal for long-term use. The back support and proximity of the child to the adult makes for longer comfort and maintained appropriate body mechanics. The diversity of carrying styles with older babies is also a huge advantage for shifting weight and cooling off in heat, along with the ease of independent donning/doffing of the carrier and the child. If youre contemplating trying one of these out, dont hesitate any longer. After the learning phase of figuring out how to use it, as I experienced, I suspect the ease and convenience will pleasantly surprise you.

Breatability - under big question. It is very thick mesh layers. They are soft though. The sit space for newborns has buttons that are right on the butt of baby making it uncomfortable for them. Even manufacturer claims it is suitable for newborns based on weight, medicine does not recommend to use it till 3-4 months. Thus I will come later to update my review. —— 4m 2w : baby enjoyed face forward position. I did too. It was the longest I held my baby in arms. This helps a lot to unload the arms,?but transitions all the load to the lower back. I could feel it after 30 min of baby carrying. My height does not work well with this carrier. I am 5 ft and wear size S. Straps are too big. Making back security strap very difficult to reach. Also the holder of baby forms a bubble due to length of torso being shorter for short people and baby is quite loose inside.

We used a Moby wrap for our premature baby, but as soon as he got bigger, it was more difficult to get him in, and he was pretty sweaty all up next to our skin during these summer months. After a lot of research, looking about and the obligatory hand-wringing, I bit the bullet and went with this carrier. So far, I LOVE it. Our little fatty (who is still fairly small at about 10 pounds) sits securely, and what at first looks like a complicated dressing process turned out to be really easy to put on, even solo. The included lumbar support makes this easy to wear for an extended period (I had it on for about six hours of walking around the other day) without back pain, and the panel that zips down to a breezy mesh fabric makes it great for summer. Im glad I went with this carrier and not another! But, hey, Ill let you know if that changes. Also, if we are going to talk about our fairy tale dreams of what it would be like in a perfect world where double rainbows were a daily occurrence and babies slept through the night, it would be convenient if there were more ways to roll up and secure excess materials and straps when not in use. (The fine print here being that there actually may be ways to do that, but our instruction booklet got ruined, so now the pages stick together, so I may never know, as I couldnt possibly look it up elsewhere.) Also, a hook or something so that I could hang it up when not in use would be great, as I can NOT figure out how to get it back into that shiny new came-right-out-of-the-box configuration. But, again, such a small deal for a product that is working out so well for me.

Thank god that I finally found this one! I can’t remember how many carriers I purchased for my daughter. She loves being held, and I need to work! This baby carrier works for us!

I purchased this carrier for a three month old baby and for my husband who is 6ft and 218 lbs. The straps are sturdy, but super thick and not breathable. To use this carrier for an infant, the seat has to be converted into the narrow position. However, when converting to a narrow seat, it creates a two inch layer of bulky snaps and fabric that a baby will have bunched up under its bottom while you’re using the carrier. While this carrier is designed to ease back and shoulder strain for the parent, an older baby who is seated in the carrier will be seated in a uncomfortable wide straddle. For a very very thin parent, this carrier might prove to be more comfortable for the parent and child. Also, there is not a separate seat for the baby to sit in. Therefore, the baby will be skin to skin with the adult who is carrying the child….and the carrier doesn’t allow for much air movement which makes it super hot and sweaty to use. The waist band fit my husband and hit where it was anatomically designed to, but For anyone who weighs more than 230, the waist band might not fit and (for anyone who has belly rolls) the waist band will easily shift with walking. Overall, I’m disappointed with this purchase.
