> 3 dayThis is my 4th baby carrier. I have a moby wrap, a baby bjorn, a tula and now this. I think that I finally found the perfect carrier! The moby wrap was ok, My baby liked it and seemed well supported and comfortable but it was such a pain to put on and take off! It is not something I could just pop the baby in and go. The baby bjorn was ok at first, but because it just holds the baby between the legs he started to seem uncomfortable sitting in it by about 3 months old when he started to get chubby and needed a wider seat to support his bum. I ordered the tula because it is supposed to be the most comfortable and amazing carrier ever created. Well, the problem with the tula is that you have to use a special insert until the baby is a certain size. The insert is super bulky and uncomfortable and my baby hated it! He screamed like crazy every time I put him in it! Also, the baby can not face forward while front riding in the tula, and for my super alert guy that was just miserable not to be able to look around. So I ordered my 4th carrier, which is the LILLEbaby. This is the best carrier EVER! Ill start with the carrier itself. It is very well made, and the pattern is adorable! My daughters insist that this should NOT be used for their baby brother because it is a girl pattern, but I loved it so I dont care if it has pink on it. ( : The carrier is so well made it amazes me. Instead of needing an extra insert for a smaller baby, the carrier itself adjusts to accommodate the baby while still being super supportive! There are SO many ways to carry a baby in this, I have only tried on the front facing me and front forward facing so far, but as my baby grows Im looking forward to trying the back and hip carry positions too. My baby loves facing forward and is so happy being able to see where we are going when we are working around the house, outside, shopping, etc. My baby is still pretty small but the should and back support of this carrier is amazing, Im sure Ill be able to carry him for a long time without any pain in my back or shoulders. The only change that may be nice would be to add a pocket in the belt like the tula has. There is a small pocket in the lillebaby on the back, but it is very small. The tula has a pocket in the front of the belt that is a bit bigger, I would love to see one of those added to the lillebaby to carry phone, keys, wallet, etc. I am so happy with this carrier and I will be recommending it to all my friends who are having babies!

> 3 dayThis review is for the sole purpose of letting everyone know that THIS IS NOT RED! Now, a normal, sane, non-sleep deprived person could probably realize that based on the fact that it is called charcol/berry, so let it be known that this is in no way lillebabies fault. I, however, am not a normal, sane, non-sleep deprived person as I am the parent of a two year old and three month, which explains why I am purchasing this carrier to begin with. Since I suspect there are other sleep deprived new parents out there trying to find baby carriers, I want to let you know, no matter how red the picture looks, and I know youve spent the past two years reading picture books with your toddler and have come to trust pictures, this is most definitely NOT RED. It is berry. Like a rasberry, only with more magenta and pink in it. It actually makes me kind of crave strawberry shortcake. It is in no way the bright red pictured. All that being said, Im still keeping it, because for one, how do I explain to lillebaby that I want to exchange it for a different color, and two, I have to give my boys something to tell their therapists when theyre older, pictures of them being carried around in a berry pink colored baby carrier ought to make a decent start! Besides, I never cared much about gendered colors anyway, my toddler son has a barbie car (that he picked out and loves and drives around under water during bathtime, so really, its probably a submarine) and my newborn is currently quite happily kicking away on a pink themed jungle baby mat as I couldnt afford the clearly more boy themed monkey one. So a pink baby carrier shouldnt be a big deal. But, sleep deprived parents that may care, be forwarned, THIS IS NOT RED. In all seriousness, if its helpful info for anyone, I am 6 tall, weigh around 160, my husband is 6 tall, weighs around 250 and this is hands down the most comfterble carrier either of us have tried. I actually joined a Baby Wearing International group with the express purpose of being able to try out different carriers, cause they are freaking exspensive to buy, especially if you end up not likeing them, and both my husband and I loved this one so much we put aside a bit of money till we could buy our own. We can both wear the baby for hours and hours walking around and its completely comfterble. Its amazing. I freaking love this carrier. But its not red. FYI.

> 3 dayOriginally bought an ErgoBaby brand carrier. My little one hates being rear facing unless he’s sleeping in it so I went searching for a new carrier. Although I didn’t want to swap brands, I came across the Lillebaby here and it was a great price for everything I wanted. I was hesitant on purchasing a brand I hadn’t researched but went with it and I couldn’t be happier. Living in the south it gets very hot during the summer and can get pretty warm even in the winter so the cooling feature was a must. The multiple positions include a great variety for newborns up to toddler aged. My LO loves the front facing position and he seems very comfortable and content. This product was actually waaaay more comfortable for my back than my original carrier, too. It has a thick pad that rests on your lower back, padded shoulder straps, and side straps. The pocket that’s included in the front is a nice touch for walks at the park. I can easily slip my car key and phone into the zippered area without worry of losing it. It’s very easy to put on by yourself, even with a wiggle worm! I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend this brand and product to my pregnant friends and mommy friends!

> 3 dayAs a first time mom this It’s super comfortable and easy to use!!! BUT it had a lot of small loose threads through the stitching of the carrier. It doesn’t have a clean finished look. It’s not made well. I had to cut off all those unfinished threads. Other than that I do really like it.

> 3 dayI’ve tried a lot of SSC. I decided to give this one a try as our other one wasn’t comfy with this baby. Wow! This is SO comfy!! Definitely keeping it. I also ordered the storage pouch and love it too. There’s just the right amount of storage to put a diaper as backup in, keys, phone etc. I got the grey feathered camo look and it’s so versatile and yet chic. Highly recommend!! The lumbar support is amazing add on. Get it!

Greater than one weekI have tried many carriers with my son and now I have a newborn baby girl. I had a moby wrap, baby ktan and also a Solly wrap. They are all good for the early months. When my son got bigger we moved onto the Ergo, which was good but mainly for older babies. I was looking for a soft structured carrier that could be used with my baby as a newborn as well as into the toddler years. What I love about this LILLEbaby is the fact that you can adjust it to fit a newborn as well as a larger baby/toddler. My baby girl has reflux and colic so it was suggested that we carry her in a carrier most of the day to keep her in an upright position. I just tried this carrier today and love the fact that it has neck support and a sleepy hood. She fell asleep in it immediately! I am wearing it as I type this review and am also surprised at the fact that it is very supportive and my back is not hurting like it sometimes does when I carry her in my wrap. I am also pleased that I found one with Tokidoki prints. It is so cute!!! I was debating between this one and the mesh version, but I am glad that I chose the all seasons because the weather in Northern CA can be hot one day but cool the next day. This carrier will keep baby warm on the cool days, but cool on the hot days because there is a ventilated zippered section. I am so glad I got this carrier.I had a hard time deciding between the Ergo 360, Lillebaby and the Boba, but glad I went with the Lillebaby.

> 3 dayI purchased this carrier for a three month old baby and for my husband who is 6ft and 218 lbs. The straps are sturdy, but super thick and not breathable. To use this carrier for an infant, the seat has to be converted into the narrow position. However, when converting to a narrow seat, it creates a two inch layer of bulky snaps and fabric that a baby will have bunched up under its bottom while you’re using the carrier. While this carrier is designed to ease back and shoulder strain for the parent, an older baby who is seated in the carrier will be seated in a uncomfortable wide straddle. For a very very thin parent, this carrier might prove to be more comfortable for the parent and child. Also, there is not a separate seat for the baby to sit in. Therefore, the baby will be skin to skin with the adult who is carrying the child….and the carrier doesn’t allow for much air movement which makes it super hot and sweaty to use. The waist band fit my husband and hit where it was anatomically designed to, but For anyone who weighs more than 230, the waist band might not fit and (for anyone who has belly rolls) the waist band will easily shift with walking. Overall, I’m disappointed with this purchase.

> 3 dayIt won’t solve your back problems but as someone who had lower back pain even before getting pregnant and glad it doesn’t make it worse like literally all other carriers I’ve owned.

> 3 dayLove this carrier! After doing a lot of research, reading reviews and watching videos, I decided to give this carrier a try. I was debating between the LilleBaby, ErgoBaby and Tula. My main requirements were convenience of carrying the child, lumbar support and the fit on the wearer. First, you can wear this carrier in 6 different positions plus 2 different ways on your shoulders (backpack and criss-cross). You can also use this for children 7-45 lbs without a seperate infant insert like other carrier brands. My 5 week old fits fantastic in this with the neck support up. He goes right to sleep every time! Second, the lumbar support is good. The lumbar support is moveable sideways and up and down so you can get the right position. I am thinking I will also buy the seperate tummy support for when my baby is big enough to be worn on my back. I feel wearing the straps criss-cross gives a little better support too but is more difficult to put on. Third, this carrier has many adjustable straps so that it can fit a wide range of people. I am 54 and 210 lbs 5 weeks post pardum and this fits with some extra room in the waist strap. I had a c-section and still have a very sore stomach above my incision and this carrier does not irritate it at all. It actually provides me with some extra support which is nice. I did buy the waist strap extender in case I needed it but I think I will be returning that. I put this on my much taller, much thinner husband and it was very quick and easy to adjust to get the right fit on him. He was very hesitant saying it looked very big and bulky but he is now a believer as it really doesnt feel like you have much on and thehd baby has such great support. I feel very comfortable wearing this. I went with the all black option as it was the cheapest. Will definately recommend this product to others!
