They work really well and they can be cleaned off for use again. You dont want to file your nails perfectly smooth if you are applying nail polish since the polish needs something to grab onto. I love the curve of the file which makes them easier to use. These work really well and I am pleased with the price.

> 24 hourI have natural nails and chose these because I am always losing files. These are quite coarse, both sides. I am guessing acrylic nails need a higher level of grit than natural nails. I did find these files to be great on my toenails and made them look professionally done. For that purpose they work very well.
