Lowrance Sun Cover F/Hook2 7 Series
-
G-Man
> 24 hourThe cover fits well. It helps keep harmful sun rays away from the unit screen.

> 24 hourA little expensive for a piece of plastic. It works as designed and stays in place while the boat is being transported.

> 24 hourI cannot say this cover is fairly priced, it is only plastic after all. But when you invest hundreds of $$ in a new fish finder you really need to take care of it. My Lowrance Hook Reveal 7 unit is protected from scratches and weather with this so I am happy. Its a perfect fit.

> 24 hourFits over my unit but does not snap in place. I have to put a small bungee cord around it to keep it in place

> 24 hourSnaps on securely. Snug fit but not too tight. Just right. Yes, like others, I feel it should have been included with the depth finder. Yes, around $30 seems a bit high for a piece of plastic! But, at least it seems well made, and fit like a glove. Don’t make the mistake of ordering the cheaper version because it is confusing whether it will fit or not. I researched deeper and it will not fit. Stick with this one! And if you’re shopping for depthfinders…I just got this Hook2 7 inch…and so far: great display, easy setup for the basics. No English version of user manual included! 7 different languages but not English! So I haven’t played with settings much. I put it on a 15 foot Triton aluminum fishing/duck hunting boat. Got this one because Wally had it on sale; A five inch would have been big enough, IMO.

> 24 hourThe cover should be included with the prospect in my opinion, but the cover works well. It was purchased for use on the Hook Reveal 7, not the Hook2 and it fits perfectly.
