First off, this is not gray — it’s brown. I wasn’t expecting it to be gray, so that’s okay. The only issue I have is that I wish the interior lining was a complementary color such as black or red instead of green, but that isn’t a deal breaker for me. It is well made and feels like it will hold up to daily usage since the zipper isn’t a cheap one typically seen on pouches of this sort, and the material of the bag itself is a nice, thick canvas. Although it is intended to be a pencil case, it would work well as a makeup bag for your purse, too. It’s large enough to fit a standard pack of index cards comfortably along with several pens and pencils, all with plenty of room to spare. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend. It matches my backpack ensemble nicely!
