Great deal! My daughter loved it! This set is a Great gift idea for any kid all ages. Everything you need is included sketch pad, colored paper, pencils, eraser, sharpener, and color pencils. This would definitely come in handy on road trips, flights, camping etc..

Although the product page says for 9–12-year-olds, my six-year-old really loves to draw and he has used this kit successfully and has taken good care of the pencils. The pencil colors have lasted a very long time and the pre-sharpened pencils are great for gifting.....my young artist could jump right in without having to sharpen anything. There are various sketch pencils to practice drawing skills with different thickness. The folder is sturdy and zips well; I like that nothing can fall out. While the paper was used pretty quickly, it was a sufficient amount for a starter kit. Great product for beginners!

Ordered for my nephew who is getting really big into drawing. He LOVED it, plenty to use and try and the sketch pads are perfect size for him (hes 6). Definitely recommend

I got this kit for one of my great-nieces who is really into drawing. This is a perfect kit to give to beginners, especially younger kids. It came with a nice sketch pad. The paper in the pad has a nice weight for drawing. She told me this was the first time she every used charcoal pencils to outline what she wanted to draw. She really like that she had a sharpener, especially when she is outside drawing. The best part to me was having a carrying case to keep everything in. A really great gift for young artists!
