Greater than one weekUsed this for drilling holes to retrofit LED ceiling lights under an exterior porch in plywood. Perfect fit for the lights and durable tool. The 3 heavy duty drill attachment options make it versatile for most any type situation.

> 3 dayI was able to cut about 50 holes from 3/4 plywood for a prop project. The center bit broke once (it came with one replacement) and the tool was still sharp enough at the end to finish the job.

08-06-2025I bought the 155mm/6.1 in size to cut the exact hole needed for the Ensenior 6 Pack 6 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Lights (which I really like). This hole saw makes the job much easier. As noted by others, if not careful, this saw can catch and give some nasty kickback. Also, the 2nd arbor that comes with the larger sizes is really nice in its design using a secondary ring to move 2 pins into the bottom of the hole saw; if only the pins matched the holes in the saw so that it could be used, this would definitely be a 5-star item. As it is, Im hoping the arbor will fit something else that I have.

> 3 dayI bought this to drill a hole in my fender to install a snorkel. Did not want to spend a ton on a name brand for just one hole. This did the job and I would buy again.

> 3 dayIf all you need is one hole and do not care that the saw wobbles excessively - namely you dont care what it looks like or how precise a hole you need, this could work a few times on soft wood. If you need a smooth hole cut in good wood in an exact location or want to use it multiple times (not hidden behind a wall for example) pay for something better. Not returning because I had to use it to find this out. Luckily I did a practice hole and avoided trashing the cabinet for which II purchased a 70mm hole saw. Now I need to buy a better quality hole saw to do the job and keep this junk, too. If only there was -1 stars for accuracy and value. Two stars if you need something cheap for a hidden hole.

> 3 dayThis is a great bit for the price. I have the 6 1/4 and a 4 1/4 both were used on putting lights in my ceiling works way better than the carbide bit you get at Lowe’s it creates less dust, but make sure you use a dust bowl and it’s virtually dustless. Just have to go a little slow when starting but after that you can go full blast and it doesn’t catch well for me it did it anyways.

> 3 dayThe hole saw is very high quality. I was expecting something with lighter gauge metal. I used this tool to cut holes in a drywall ceiling to install LED lights. Each hole took less than 10 seconds to cut a perfect round hole. I saved lots of time and headache. I made sure that I bought a hole saw with the spring around the drill bit in the center. It keeps the drywall disk from getting stuck in the hole saw. It makes all the difference. I price this item at Loews and Home Depot and it was $34 and $42. If you price it out, youll see the same thing.

> 3 dayMy house is old. I have installed LED lights in most of the rooms at this point, and these hole saws never seem to last too long. This one worked fine for its purpose, and was cheaper than the one I bought before from Home Depot. So that helps. For context, all of the ceilings in my home are double layered drywall, with a layer of wire mesh in between, which is beyond annoying. The teeth on these saws always get worn down fairly quickly because of this. Im sure that eventually I will have to replace this one as well. The last project I did was in my living room, which required 10 lights. I used this saw for about 6 of the 10 holes needed. The teeth on this one still seem good so far.

> 3 dayI used it to drill multiple holes for a 32 roon purple martin house and some gourds. It worked well and still is sharp and ready to go.
