All in all my initial impressions of this protector are very high.

Very well made seat protectors. The stronger and slightly more rigid padding on these should protect the soft alcantara seat inlays in the car and will distribute the weight of the car seat more evenly . They do have a slightly knobbly underside to stop them slipping around, so just to be safe on the softer material in our car, Ive put the base of a very soft seat protector underneath (which was useless as a seat protector on its own!).
