For the price, this thing gives a lot of bang for the buck. Bought it so my daughter can draw/write/eat with minimal spill herb and cleaning for me. She isnt used the ipad holder yet, but she uses for drawing and writing. Havent used it for a long road trip yet, but i can see it being very handy. Big plus she loves unicorns.

This is a great product if you have just one child. The reason I say that statement is because having multiple children will cause distractions. Thus making this product useless to parents hoping to gain peace and quiet during their road trips or travel times. One child can truly benefit from this product, if they have NO distractions from their siblings or other children in the vehicle. Don’t buy this if you plan on traveling with multiple children. It will be just another good intention product that most parents fantasy in their own heads on how it will play out. But it will just be another product put on storage.

We recently had a long car trip ahead of us, and I wanted to make my eight year-old more comfortable. Hes short enough he still uses a booster seat, so the tray rested on the mini-arms of it. He was happy as a clam! Very easy to set up, no weight resting on his lap, and it was steady enough for a drive-through meal. He ended up not really needing the tablet holder, though it attached just fine. I doubt well need it for shorter trips, but for a whole day of driving, it was terrific. My older child, who is not in a booster, wasnt comfortable with it on her lap, just something to keep in mind.

I bought this for my grandson for the long trip to Ocean Isle Beach. Even though it was very nice and a wonderful idea for kids travel, he didnt use it the whole time. We got back yesterday, May 13th. I was going to return it but noticed we missed the return date by less than 24 hours. I decided to get my daughters a lap table for the car. We have a 6 hour road trip coming up to the grandparents; and halfway through the girls get antsy. Im really hoping this will help. I have not tried it in the car yet, but my one daughter loves using it on the couch. I also plan to have them use it at work. Im a school bus driver and my girls ride with me. These will give them the ability to entertain themselves besides using their tablet the entire time. Speaking of tablets; the girls have bulky covers on theirs. I was happy to see that I didnt have to take the covers off.
