technically it is good printed vinyl packed in beautiful envelope. music is boring, if you have her first record, forget the next ones. looks like she didnt do anything new, same old tricks.

Not a bad album, but not a great album either. Im not as overwhelmed by Lana Del Ray as I was when she first appeared on the music scene. At that moment--she was unique and a far cry from what many others were listening to or radio stations were playing but now--frankly, this release sounds no different than her others. In fact, the remixes are the only releases that show any real growth and at that point we have to give credit to the producers & engineers who mixed them. I mean how many times can you do the same torch song over and over again? Apparently quite a few when people keep buying them. Nevertheless, I will purchase the album just as I will probably purchase her next album but Im afraid it wont be long before it finds its way to the back of the stack. Im sorry--but nothing on the album jumps out at me, except her smile. Thats probably because theyve done such a good job of merchandising her.

I love the entire album. Every song is so good, addictive, and orgasmic. I play it every morning when I go to work and just am able to relax! It gives off such a late 60s mid 70s vibe. I have to say this is a lot better than the Honeymoon album. However, each CD of Lanas has songs or several that I listen to on repeat weekly! Keep this up Lana Del Slay!

I think her best, most complete album yet, though maybe instrumentally not as deep as say Ultraviolence, her duet with Sean Lennon & Stevie Nicks alone makes up for some of the more juvenile Ae$op duets. Its well-rounded, a bit sunnier, which makes for a great overall listen of Lanas terrific voice.

While theres potential hit singles here (World at War, Groupie Love, Get Free, and Summer Bummer), what really stamds out about this albums is that theres really NOT a bad song to be found here. And its ALL generally better than what the kids today are trying to pass off as music - lets face it - its been a bad decade for the music industry. Bottom line, I LOVE this fine albums, its a BIG step up from the dreadfully mournful; Honeymoon album catastrophe.
