Best idea ever! These are fabulous! Convert single point switch to 3 way (4 way or more) in minutes. These are not wifi dependent! Can be wall mounted or simple remote. (Suggest buying the pedestal when using as remote. These are tiny and easy to misplace!) Watch pricing, have seen them @ less then $20.

works great. Used it as three way switch. Just get pdf doc from Lutron with directions on how to connect three way. It takes about an hour to disconnect two old switches and connect new. I got two remotes, one was installed in the wall instead old switch and one will be used as handheld remote.

One of the four of these that I ordered does not work. Lutron seems to have quality control issues they need to get a handle on. Wait to order use any of the casetta wireless products until they get better at producing a quality product. I have many of these around my house. They dont work intermittently and continue to have random failures. I spent thousands of dollars on these and now many-many hours. Dont make the same mistake that I did.

This controls the Caretra switches / controls. Does nothing by itself. Having worked as an electrician, the switches were easy to install (just like installing a switch or dimmer). They are great for adding a 3-way(with Pico) or controlling wirelessly (pico or phone app) I have over 20 of them in my house

Easy to add to existing system. HomeKit has occasional glitches with other manufacturers sometimes but with Lutron, it works smoothly all the time.

Lutron has come up with a great way to deal with 3,4,5 way switches and converting your house to wifi switches. If you understand this dilemma, then this product is the one to help you get there. When coupled with the wall plate bracket this fits into, you can add this in place of one of the switches in the system and it looks and works just as if it was a normal light switch. Example, for a 4 way system, get two of these and two of the mounting brackets, and one actual lutron caseta dimmer. Install the dimmer in place of one 4 way switch and install the remotes in place of the other two switches in the same system. Sync the remotes with that dimmer and your done. Looks like normal switches! One hint, if you like the idea of hitting a button and the dimmer go to a preferred setting, then mount one of these remotes in the most commonly used switch location. The actual dimmer switch doesnt have that function, but the remotes do. We use it all the time and didnt think we would. Great product, great solution to the multi switch wifi conversion problems.
