I bought this to keep individual projects separate from a vast supply of knitting and crocheting items. It works great for me. I keep my small projects in this as I am working on them I do not have to look for anything as I am working. Not usable for larger project. Also more attractive then others available.

You could get 1 regular sized skein in this bag. If your working on anything needing more than that get something bigger. If your using fine yarn for like socks or something this might work. For worsted weight, move on this isnt it.
