Too long, but good quality

I have purchased Lysse straight leg jeans in XL but size L fit me in the wide leg trousers and really comfortably. These are really attractive pants - I think they would go well with some sort of a heel. The wide leg gives them a slightly dressy look. I love the smooth flat waist and belly - no bulky zipper and button protruding in an area I want to look as minimal as possible. I am confused as to why this particular style has such long pant length. I’m 5’9” and these are so long that they need altering before I can wear them.

These are the greatest if you are TALL or need a long inseam. I am 59 and need the 33.5 inseam these offer. I am very pleased with the fabric . I own both indigo and white. They washed well and no shrinking. One thing i would say is dont judge size until you have worn them an hour or so. When i first put them on they seem just a bit snug but they loosen up. I really like them! Worth the money.

I love these pants. I have put on a lot of weight, especially in my stomach area and it is very hard to find pants that look great and feel great. The rise on these is high enough, even on my long torso, to go over my stomach completely and therefore causes me no discomfort. I am 58 and wear these with 2 inch heels and its perfect. These pants are easy to dress up for casual business with heels, a nice top, and a blazer.

The quality of the fabric is very good! The fit for me was very good. This company is a high quality company.

Im 59, so the length of these pants is perfect. I deducted one star for the tight waist. As other reviewers have noted, its not the fabric, its the thin strip of tight elastic. If Lysse could omit the elastic, these pants would be perfect. I tried to remove it myself, and its just not possible without basically redoing the entire waistline.

I love these jeans. The stretchy top is tight and gives a nice smoothing effect plus it feels like you are wearing sweatpants. They are a very nice wide leg trouser jean that I can wear to meetings that may be more formal, but feel right in place in my casual office and they travel really well. TIm 6 ft tall and they fit me well. They not only look and feel great but because of the stretch at the top they have moved through many sizes with me. I had the 2x directly from Lysse and wore as I lost weight from a size 20 to 14 and they fit the whole time. I just ordered the XL and look forward to moving down a few sizes without having to buy another pair of pants. If you cant tell - this is one my favorite pieces of clothing ever!
