> 24 hourThis is our 5 year old sons first skateboard, he does okay on it but he would do better with a wider board. This board is pretty slim and as a beginner he struggles a bit to stay on it when he takes one foot off to push himself along. Overall its nicely constructed and the colors are vibrant. I just wouldnt necessarily consider it a beginners skateboard!

> 24 hourThis is a very nice, high quality skateboard, but it is not for super young beginners. Purchased this for my 5 year old last Christmas and he hasnt had much success on it but his older brother loves it. Its really fast and smooth. The neighbor kids like to ride on it as well. It lights up which is nice.
