Greater than one weekI found it very easy to assemble this cat tower by myself using the provided tools (small screwdriver and allen wrench). Everything was packaged and labeled well. The finished cat tower has become my cats favorite place to scratch. She fits well on all levels. The top level is extra roomy for a seven-pound cat. The material hasnt shown any snags from claws in the two weeks it has been used. If the scratching posts get shredded on one side I can loosen the bolt and rotate the post to present the unscratched side to extend the life of this unit. I recommend this cat tower.
