I just received this backpack and am very impressed with the overall design. It looks to be durable, and is the perfect size for that weekend trip. Small enough to be considered a carry-on if you are flying, which is how I usually travel, Looks like it should be large enough to hold everything I need. It has lots of pockets, zippers and elastics to keep your things organized. Even a bag to keep your shoes in! I would definitely say its worth the price I paid.

Very disappointed that the packing cubes did not come with the item! Traveling in the next couple days, so I do not have time to return and receive a new one! Having this extra items with the backpack is the main reason I ordered it.

What a great backpack! Quality was great. There are so many features it took me a while to figure out how best to use it to replace my existing backpack. This has plenty of room for all your essentials, whether they be electronics or stuff for an overnight trip. We used this for our Thanksgiving travels. 4 plane rides and it held up great. Only critical comment is that I wish the color selection was a little better. We selected the blue as the best choice of all that were offered.

I purchased this for a good weekend or overnight bag and it exceeded my expectations. Tons of storage and organization with dedicated compartments for laptop and electronics, clothes, and toiletries. With how much the bag expands it will be great for those times that you come home with more than you left with. I own several other Maelstrom products and they never disappoint.

This is a very nice backpack, but it’s smaller than i expected for the purpose it states it’s for. This is more of a laptop backpack than a travel one. Great quality and nice looking but doesn’t hold much.

Great backpack for travel

It’s a very good product. It fits a lot of things and there are many compartments in this backpack, and it is perfect to use it for weekend trip! It comes with additional zip bags so that you can separate them. This is a great backpack to have instead of using carry on luggages.

I really hoped this bag would meet my expectations. Honestly it’s got too many pockets. Watch out for SAND! They send me a USED BAG! There is sand in external shoe compartment! Plus one of the external bag clips is torn, someone tried to fix it with blue treads, it caught my attention right away. This is just unacceptable, if I wanted to buy a used bag I would buy a used bag. Also real color of the bag is way darker than advertised.

This backpack from Maelstrom has more room than any backpack I own. If youre taking a trip on Spirit Airlines where they charge you for any bag that doesnt fit under your feet, this would be the one to get. It can hold a lot of stuff but would still be free to take on Spirit. Or if you have to take a lot of stuff to your office each day, youll be able to fit everything inside. I was happy to see that this backpack is also waterproof, so even if you get caught out in the rain, your stuff will be safe. The shoe bag that is built in is quite ingenious. You can pull it out and secure it on the back when you need to carry a pair of shoes with you, or tuck it away when youre not using it. It doesnt use any of the storage space inside of the backpack, which is amazing. My SwissGear backpack used to be my favorite, but I have switched from that one to this new Maelstrom backpack, because I can use it for any occasion. The build quality is very good. For the current price its a steal and I highly recommend it.
