MAGIX Photostory Deluxe - Version 2019 - Create Slideshows the Easy Way

It almost, sorta, sometimes seems to work. Its so challenging, that it evokes raised hands and cheers when positive results are achieved. That might be its only saving grace. Of course, that celebration only occurs after sufficient amounts of Pinot Noir.

In my opinion, this is horrible software. It takes over 5 hours to burn a 600 photo slideshow (with no automation) to Blu Ray and the software crashes constantly. The software only burns at 1x even though my Blu Ray supports much highly burn rates. I have tried unsuccessful on both of my computers. The software is painfully slow even on my Intel Core I7 8th Generation HP Laptop with 16 GB of RAM. Once a process has started the only way to exit the program is to CTRL ALT DEL and stop the process. Im returning the software for credit and now hunting for something better.

Its very easy to use but my images are coming out lacking detail----flicker----video noise.

Software crashed several times while making a slideshow. When burning a DVD, I could not get it to play in all dvd players. It would play when placed in older player but not when placed in newer players. Very disappointed.

Has a lot of promise but it has its issues. On the third day of using it, when opening it, it went back to the registration page, which had my email and the S/N of the package which was necessary to activate the program. Hit the activation button and it came back to the same page. Didnt like the email address which in fact was the one used to activate it.

Where do I start? Photostory playback is very slow and choppy. The UI needs to be reworked. The menu is not intuitive at all. The tabs at the top make no sense. A couple times while working in my project directory with my assets I somehow got out of the directory and could not figure out how to get back. Also when using the Photo Assistant lets says I am selecting 88 pics/videos and forget one to add around 54 how do I slip those assets end while having to remove 34 assets?

Ive tried to use this for a number of years. It has constantly crashed on me. Most of the time Ive been able to work around the problem by rebooting the program but this last upgrade has totally pushed me over the edge,. Using this program is a new experience in frustration. When it worked its great but those moments were few and far between. If it didnt crash so much it would be a good program.
