It does not seem to magnify 30x like is states it does . So for that I rate a 0 but for quality , brightness and easy to hold I give it 5 stars ... I am not 100% satisfied but it will do ..

I spent more than an hour fruitlessly searching for the little shard of glass in my foot. The pain told me it was there but I could not see what the problem was. I finally decided that more light was needed, and found a big flashlight that provided it. But still, I could not locate the source of the pSo I got a magnifying glass, years old, and began my search anew. Picture of you will, me with a magnifying glass in one hand, a flashlight in the other, and a very sharp knife wedged under the magnifying glass. Not smart, and not effective. It finally came out, but I vowed to have better magnification with a bright light for whatever came my way next. This is the answer - a fairly large magnifying glass encircled by twelve LED lights. They would light up any area where glass or a sticker has created a painful situation, They will allow you to actually read the fine print so often obscured by its size. I wont be loaning this jewel; but Ill keep it at hand when anyone else has a painful encounter with a bit of glass or a sticker that refuses to leave. FIVE STARS!

Typical of most handheld glasses, magnification only works if the glass is within 5 to 6 inches of the object. Blurs after that. The 12 LEDs put out too much light for looking directly at some objects. But it does what its supposed to do.

Much better than expected! I purchased one from a big box chain that had 3 tiny LEDs to help me read drawings and component IDs on printed wiring boards. I was still having trouble so i decided to look for another. The 30x magnification definitely does the job. I really like the amount of light it puts out and also the LED color options you can select by pressing the on/off button. I plan to buy another one

I ordered the magnifying glass to go through a bag of pennies that had been stashed in my garage for several years. It is a good choice. It helped me to see that even magnified 30Xs I will never find the million dollar penny.

I use this all the time. I bought it to help me see fine print and now I use it all the time. Coin collectors would really love these

I didnt care for this as it was like looking through a smudged lens. The led light seemed to make it worse for me.
