I had a tech help change my transmission fluid and the modern day design makes it a messy process. My transmission pan plug was blocked and when the pan came down, fluid was everywhere. But this little mat really came through and absorbed most of what spilled. I’ll buy another.

The item comes folded numerous times, making it impossible to get the gold lines out. Probably better to ship it rolled instead of folded. It also slides easily so need some tape backing. I returned it immediately as it was quite useless unfortunately.

I purchased a similar oil mat in the past but was twice this size and got in the way of things when trying to navigate under the car. These are the perfect size and work as advertised. They do not absorb great amounts of oil, but handle drips and small spills very well. It has a rubber back to keep oil from seeping through and can be sprayed down after use.

Did its job as advertised. I would expect it to absorb a quart but a little oil should be absorbed

It was a good product for the price. I had some oil spill and quickly placed the mat under the spill. I’m not sure if it went through the mat or was on the ground before I was able to get the mat under the spill. I will say the the mat does absorb spills well.
