> 24 hourFirst, I want to say I REALLY like this label maker from MakeID and I recommend it. One of the first things you notice is that it has a really nice look to it: it is ‘clean’, to use an overused phrase. The LCD screen is big and bright and much better than my other “big name” label makers. The buttons have a nice feel to them and typing on it isn’t too bad. The label maker is a little complicated to use right out of the box; the instruction guide provided isn’t bad but is very simple and I wish it had a little more examples of what you get with what settings: but for the most part you can figure this out by just playing with it (by the way, the app is the way to go, see below). It prints nice looking, clean labels quickly. Some really nice features: 1) it is rechargeable using a USB to USB-C cable (provided) which means it is lightweight and you don’t have to constantly change batteries like others; 2) you can print and cut a single label right after printing without any waste of label tape, unlike others where there is always a long blank lead and a long blank tail when you print a single label (my big name labeler seemed to waste about an inch of label tape per label…); 3) loading the label tape is as simple as dropping a roll in the bottom of the machine, and the rolls have about 13 feet of tape; 4) it is small and lightweight enough to take with you anywhere you might need it: garage, office, gym…; and 5) this label maker has built in bluetooth and can be controlled by an app on your phone. The app takes this label maker from OK to great and really makes it shine. There are some cons associated with this device, one I already mentioned: until you print you really don’t know how your label in size will look; I wish it had examples somewhere of this set of settings will give this, etc. The second is the label tape: it comes in limited colors and all I can find so far is the 16 mm wide tape (I was not able to find the 9 mm and 12 mm tapes). Apart from these, once you get the hang of this labeler it is a great find.

> 24 hourIf you’re like me and you love labeling things then this label maker is definitely for you. It’s a sturdy and well made product. It’s so easy to use and get started. It prints beautifully. I love to open up my pantry and seeing how organized everything is because of a label. The labels adhere very nicely and remains on the item until you remove it. Love this!

> 24 hourI hated our old-fashion gun-style label maker. It was annoying to use so ended up collecting dust until I finally threw it away. THIS ONE, however, is easy, quick, and fun to use. Was surprised it came already charged and label roll loaded. Did check the instructions and learned to hold down the button 2 seconds to turn the unit on and off. Also read what the proper alignment was printing labels. Other than those things this is easy to figure out how to use. I did double check to make sure some extra labels I bought fit this unit. No problem. Excuse my slightly crooked printed label. Pretty sure I didnt align right after checking inserting a new roll.

> 24 hourI got this for office labeling, and also labeling my personal items in a public facility. This label maker is pretty straightforward, type what you want and hit print. The USB c charging is great, as I dont need to waste batteries, the labels themselves are pretty basic so its easy to get more. The display is bright and easy to read, my only complaint is that you have poor spacing without a border, its like theres a space bar at the start of the label, making it not centered, the bordered ones are perfectly centered however. Overall easy to use and functional label maker.

> 24 hourI have one of the other MakeID printers, and it works flawlessly, this printer continues to lose connection with my phone, I tried my daughters phone, and had the same results. The labels are comparable to the other small portable printers sold. Just expected more from a mini full keyboard label printer.

> 24 hourThis is a nice label maker that I am very pleased with. I really like being able to input/format the label on my phone instead of needing to create it directly on the label maker. The bluetooth connection and the app work quite well. The buttons on the label maker are only labeled with symbols and no words, which makes it a lot more confusing and counterintuitive to learn how to use, but other that I have no complaints. I used this to label a shelf full of spices and oils in my cupboard and it worked very well. I look forward to labeling all the things!

> 24 hourThe manual is clear and its easy enough to change label size and font, etc. Using the device interface limits you a little with symbols. There are a very few symbols and they dont look great. The keyboard is functional, but the keys feel a little weird and pop when you press them. However, using the phone app is much better. There are a lot of symbols and its quite easy to create and print labels via bluetooth. The labels are split in the middle making them very easy to peel and stick. Be aware of off-brand labels, though- as you can see in the picture they print fine, but the center hole is much too small to fit the internal spindle. Its a great little device. Highly recommended.
