Helped me get my dreaded siding job done a little easier, so for that I’m thankful.

I have had vinyl siding coming loose on the house. The person who put up my siding did not use this type of tool. someone told me about this product and it works like a charm, who knew. Saved me money on trying to use another siding company.

works great anywhere you have to remove the nail fin from the siding. so when you get to the top of the wall, or under a large window you simply install finish trim (other wise know as snaplock trim) inside of your J channel. then cut your siding long enough to slide up into the finish trim. after that go back and puch the top of the cut siding every 4 to 6 inches. this tool puts a directional notch into the siding allowing it to lock into the snap lock trim. no need for exposed fasteners to secure the top wall, or anywhere you have to cut the top off of the siding.

Made our job so much easier and it did exactly as it said.

Did what I needed it to. After using it for the first time I figured out not to seat the siding all the way into the plier as that increases the chance the notches are visible

Simple tool that worked as it should. I used this when replacing siding that had blown off in a storm, probably because the pro installer never put locking tabs in when the siding was originally installed. One hint for users; if the temperature is low (near freezing) the siding will be brittle and youll end up with the tabs snapping off leaving an oblong hole. Warm up the vinyl a bit and the tool works fine.

Although I have not used it as much as I thought I would, the tool worked as intended and was easy to use. I probably wouldn’t buy one again simply because I really have had no use for it and I’m over halfway through with my project.

Very easy to use. Notches looked perfect. Bought it for just one piece of siding installed improperly during remodeling by professionals! Punched every 6-8 inches and inserted the siding edge under the J Channel and I know that vinyl siding is going to stay put in this windy city!
