I was very happy with Malwarebytes UNTIL it came time for renewal. I originally bought Premium ($99 a year). Now, my needs have changed. I dont need 4-5 computers option, I wanted to change to 2 computers (around $39). There is NO WAY to change my existing product. So, if I reorder directly, they will just charge me $99 and thats it. I sent in a support ticket. No help. They didnt have a clue what I was asking. Then I tried on-line support. It was a nightmare. There is NO human agent on the other end. Its all an automated answer tree. When it cant answer your question, it will create a support ticket. I told it I dont need it. I already have one (that was useless!) It just kept firing questions at me (with no place for me to interrupt it or clarify what I needed to know--all it had was drop-down menu items that were irrelevant. Finally, I just hung up. I will NEVER use this product again. Its really too bad, because you cant run a anti-virus/anti-malware business without setting up good customer support. In this case, it isnt even bad customer support, its NON-EXISTENT customer support. Zero.

If your running Windows, Malwarebytes and Defender are all you need. I First started using Malwarebytes to clean my, and other peoples, machines around 2010 or 2011 and I was amazed at what Malwarebytes was capable of, Malwarebytes basically cleaned up the mess that Nor and McA had missed and left behind. Being an early adopter I was fortunate enough to land a lifetime license that I use to this day. I can honestly say if did not have that license I would have no problem paying the yearly fee today and for the rest of my life, Malwarebytes is that good. Its the best, and I trust no other!

Super easy to install with code provided. I hope that in the future they can do away with the extra cost to their company of boxing and shipping and send the activation code electronically and therefore also saving our natural resources.

Ive been a MB Premium user for several years. But now theres a problem. Every time I update, MB becomes unresponsive. For instance I cant open it to run detailed scans. Im running as administrator on a Win10 Pro with latest updates on a Surface notebook. This has happened 3 OUT OF THE LAST 4 UPDATES. The last time this happened, I had to uninstall and then reinstall MB in order to get it to work. MB does NOT have good support and one cant contact them for detailed questions. I have 2 computers running MB Premium, and I have two additional computers I was considering adding to my license. But now I dont think so. Instead, Im now considering cancelling my MB subscription and asking for a refund. I rate MB as a zero because of this continuing problem. Got the 3.0 version and 5 device count version of Malwarebytes Premium sent to me so had to return and ask for the correct product. Still waiting for the correct one.
