Manhattan Toy Wimmer-Ferguson See and Say Board Book

My son received these as a gift when he was 9 months old. He loved them then and several months later he still loves them! They are soft enough that if he bonks himself in the face with one it doesnt hurt and large enough that they catch his attention and hold it. He loves to chase the ball around and stack the pyramid on top of the cube. Overall I think these are great. Theyve held up well and are still in great shape.

These are great toys! Bigger than I expected. The cube with the baby face on it makes my 3 month old smile a lot when he sees that side. There is a tiny ribbon on each one so we are able to hang it on his activity gym. The crinkle sound and bells inside are fun too. We will be able to play with this toy for a long time.

So hard to find black and white toys! But this one is perfect! Well made and great aspects of the toy! A++

My daughter loves this but the Velcro strap is insufficient - she started pulling it off her car seat at 4 mo.

Our son loves the patterns and whatnot, but I would expect that a baby toy would be easy to clean. This came with no cleaning instructions, was difficult to wash by hand because of the various kinds of surface textures, and the sphere fell apart after a single delicates cycle in our washer (tore open and had fluff falling out).

We love these. He likes to look at the black and white parts now. I like that there are different textures to feel when he’s older (fuzzy and satin). The bell in the triangle is really good.

This is my three month olds favorite toy.

We love these. They have great textures and make great sounds, and the patterns are fun. The quality is lacking a bit, though. The seams are a little cheap and wonky looking on the cube, and the ball has bust a seam (nothing I cant fix). My babys an infant, he doesnt play rough yet. There are small fabric loops for attaching links, but they slip off the links easily. I think its because the loops are a slippery, thin fabric.

My 8-month old son really loves the shapes, and he has ever since he got them last Christmas which was six months ago. The pyramid jingles, the ball krinkles, and the cube rattles. He likes the shapes and the sounds. I dont think he cares about images very much. His favorite is the ball. We can always get him to smile by krinkling the ball as we move it back and forth in front of his face. Unfortunately, both the ball and the cube have begun to come apart at the seams. (The pyramid is still intact.) I believe this started about a month or so ago which was only five months after he got them. The ball coming apart is not as bad as the cube because the cube is coming apart between a picture side and the orange side. Therefore, it leaves little pieces of orange in my sons crib. This is disappointing because my son really loves this toy, and now he can only play with the pyramid. Now, we just have to decide if its worth buying another set so our son can keep playing with them.
