> 24 hourDr. Strange is really fun to play. He might be too powerful. Will probably only play with him on expert mode from now on.

> 24 hourPlease note you need a copy of the core set for Marvel Champions to play this game. Once you get it is this a good first buy to add to the game? Ill take a look at that question a little later.

> 24 hourFFG did it again! This is clearly the best hero on the market. He has the standard 15 cards plus another 5 cards that make up his Invocation deck that does not go towards his 50 card limit. He can manipulate status cards, so if you have a confused, he can convert it to a tough. The same with enemies. If they have a tough, he can turn it into a stun or confused. He comes with a protection aspect, which I think suits him well. He has cards to ready himself if need be, which allows him to be able to defend himself and ready again to be able to use his invocation deck. Great job by FFG!

> 24 hourThis hero pack gives players access to the Doctor Strange. This heros base set out of the packaging is a protection hero as his green cards are used for healing and defense. The actual Doctor Strange cards give a great balance of providing opportunities to protect like Protective War (cancel effects on treachery reveals) or attack Magic Blast (Deal 5 damage then discard a card to do additional effects). This helps the player feel like Doctor Strange aiding and retaliating in a battle. Though his cards feel thematic, the most important feature that truly feels like Doctor Strange is the Invocation deck. This is a separate set of five cards that are shuffled with the top card revealed at the start of the game. Then the player can cast the top spell by activating Doctor Stranges invocation action or playing Master of the Mystic Arts event card (though it keeps the spell from being discarded). Casting an invocation spell will cause it to be discarded and a new invocation card to be revealed from the special deck.

> 24 hourI find this pack very useful to buy if you want to make a Protection character who takes Defend actions, as Protection is kind of weak with just the base set.
