Mary Ellens 128-Ounce Best Press Gallon Refill, Lavender

I’ve been using Best Press in my quilting for years. Wonderful product!

The best fabric starch ever. No flaking, no white spots. Presses easily with no residue left on the iron. I started out using it for quilting when I needed to tame a diagonal edge. It keeps the fabric from stretching and adds gentle stiffening. It washes out cleanly and the scent is pleasent without being cloying. There is only a faint odor after pressing, but a lovely one. I use it on clothing that needs a quick pressing, too.

Ive reviewed this before and have been using it for many years. Amazon offers the best price on this economy size. You can buy a smaller size that comes with a spray bottle that you can refill or use a clean spray bottle you have. This product gives your garments and linens a nice feel and soft scent (I buy the lavender) For hard to iron fabrics, it makes the job easier. While this is not a starch, Mary Ellens adds body to fabrics, making shirt fronts look great, clothing drape nicely, pillow cases and sheets smooth and smelling good.

I love Mary Ellens Best Press. The lavender is my favorite and no longer do I purchase Magic Sizing (which I really like, but can leave residue on ironed clothes) nor do I buy any starch. The Mary Ellens leaves no residue at all on the clothes or the iron and that is something that I love!

This is the best ironing aid on the market. Makes ironing easier without the stiffness of using a starch type product. The lavender scent is just enough for freshness without being overwhelming.
