Because of its large size, it becomes somewhat heavier when get soaked.

The cuff part came loose from the mitt after a few uses. The stitching apparently failed.

Have been using this to wash my car and it works incredibly well. The soft fibers ensure that when used correctly it will not damage the clear coat.

I have bought a number of wool wash mitts over the years from detailers and a number of different companies. There is a huge range in durability and quality. Some Ive kept for years, while others come apart after 10 to 15 usese. The Mary Moppins seems to be the best by far. It has the thickest wool which is important for trapping dirt to prevent scratching paintwork. For the first time, Ive seen proper care instructions for the wash mitt (I usually just rinse in water and let air dry). Im looking forward to seeing how well these hold up, because the material quality here is clearly the best.

A great product for washing my car, boat, RV, and truck.

I purchased this about 9 months ago. It works great and is as described, and it gave me confidence to wash my new car without unknowingly rubbing grit into the paint. I used it with a gentle high-end car wash soap and rinsed it thoroughly with plain water and hang-dried it after every use. Now the wool has started to come out in large clumps as I use it. At this rate, I dont expect it to be useable but for a few more times. I was happy with it until it started falling apart after routine occasional use in under a year. I would have expected a wash mitt for this price to hold up longer.

Awesome quality. You will not find better. Just be sure to rinse well after use and hang to dry thoroughly (need good airflow to get completely dry).

Any old school detailer or car restorer or old time body shop guy will tell you pure lambswool is the best tool for detailing your cars paint. Let are not lying to you. I am in auto sales and auto detailing I have tried so many different brands and products over the years. This is the best lambswool mitt I have ever owned. Cleans the paint nicely and DEFIENTLY does not scratch. You have to keep the surface of the mitt clean so you dont scratch the paint and thats for anything you use to wash your car. Always start from top to bottom. Now when your done cleaning your car rinse it clean from dirt with hose then put a quarter size of baby shampoo lavender free scrub it around in the lambswool then rinse with hose let it air dry for about 30 min then store in a zip lock bag. This will prolong the life of this pure lambswool wash mitt.

I do a no-rinse wash and this mitt works great. It is excellent at picking up dirt, and retaining it for rinsing out. Basically just one-swipe works on most of the car.
