While anything can be broken into, this product will discourage a thief, or, at least, have them seek an alternative point of entry. I plan to buy another for another building.

If you can make it work based on your mounting surface, I believe that it may be one of the best locks you can buy for the price.

I used this lock on a barn door outside and its not only the sturdiest lock Ive ever used/seen but it is so easy to install and use. Very happy with this lock for a sliding door application. Amazing quality.

Replaced the original basic storage building lock with this based off the suggestion of a locksmith. PERFECT...two wooden storage can change shape and position over time and this lock tolerates that well....unless the thief brings a serious welding machine or takes apart the door hes not getting in! I did not realize I needed very specific sized carriage bolts so take the box with you to hardware store and know the thickness of the door so you can get the accurate length. I laid out the design on the door and marked before drilling and had no problems.

Installed 2 of these on my boat to keep thieves from stealing gas and batteries, well worth the money. Installation was easy and they look nice and they are very solid. Would definitely buy again if the need arises.

Tough to install, but works how you want it to.

Very happy with this purchase. This is exactly what I was looking to secure my shed. The only thing I didnt like was that they do not include the carriage bolts needed to install it.
