May be fine for some purposes, but to me these are harsh, artificial blinding white light.

I purchased these bulbs trying to replace Amber Edison incandescent bulbs that came with a chandelier and didnt want to spend another $100 on bulbs. They arent near as amber as what I am replacing (but I dont know if thats just because theyre LED) and they dont dim at the same point as the original bulbs (as in you have to turn them down much farther before theyll dim), but for the price, I will definitely keep them. Just be aware when ordering that all ambers are not alike and all Edison bulbs are not the same length or shape.

Exactly what I wanted. Keep in mind they are extremely bright if you have a small room or low ceiling. I will probably have to get a dimmer

Soft White is the way to good if you want that bright look without it looking too fluorescent or too dim! Highly recommend these!!

These were perfect for what I needed! The warm bulbs were too dim for my room but still wanted the Edison bulb effect, these are great. Hopefully they will last also.
