I LOVE this game and the tin it comes in, but the cards themselves feel like thick paper coated in color. Don’t buy this one, but the ones that come in a paper pack because the cards feel like actual playing cards. I have to be careful every time I shuffle these cards.

My family loves the traditional game cards for Phase 10. This version of the game is not traditional. The actual playing cards are poor quality and have a different design. The instruction cards for each phase use an alphabet code rather than words; for example, AAA + BBB instead of 2 sets of 3. I would not recommend this version.

I love this game and nice to have the tin to put the cards away.

Fun game for friends or family. Comes in run to keep it organized.

If you like playing rummy and Uno you will like Phase 10 as it combines a bit of both games. You can play with two, three or four players with this version but the more players the more challenging it becomes.

Kids played this exactly once. It took about 10 minutes to figure out this was going to be the longest, slowest, most boring game wed ever played. Its one of those games where as soon as you start to read the rules, you realize youve made a mistake. This is the Monopoly of card games: only begin a game if you are prepared to spend hours and hours playing. In order to lay down any points you need to get one of ten phases - in consecutive, sequential order - or else keep drawing and keep playing on and on. We played at least 30 minutes and some of us got to Phase I, and one person got to Phase Ii, while one was still trying to get their first Phase I. To make it all the way to Phase 10 seems like it would have taken at least 5 hours. A needlessly complicated version of Rumy - like if you tried to sit down and take the fun and skill out of Rumy, youd end up with Phase 10. 0/10 would not recommend.

This is one of my family’s favorite games. Our children were able to learn how to play at age 5. It requires luck and strategy. I highly recommend this game.

We like the game, thought it was several bucks pricy though.

The Phase 10 card game is a rummy-type game with a twist, from the makers of the UNO game. This special edition celebrates the 40 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of this classic game, invented in 1982 and now played all over the world. It includes a specially-designed keepsake box and cards, as well as a letter from the game"s creator, Kenneth R. Johnson. The object of the Phase 10 game is to be the first player to complete 10 varied Phases like two sets of three, one run of seven, or seven cards with the same color. The twist is that each Phase must be completed in order -- players can"t advance to Phase 2 until they"ve completed Phase 1! The first person to complete all ten Phases wins. Colors and decorations may vary.
