Greater than one weekMax and Neo leashes are great, but this 3 hooped handle one gives a lot of options when walking my ultra-enthusiastic labradoodle. Close for crossing streets or close contact with other dogs in passing. Middle position for regular heel position or walking slightly in front of me. And then the normal end of the leash position when finding the perfect spot to go potty. Sounds funny.... but it really makes a difference... and lots of leverage and no rope burn. The swivel clip is nice an big so that it is easy to attach to anything, including the collar.

> 3 dayReally love how this leash has 3 different handles/loops. We previously had a leash with just the up close and the end loop that we replaced with this one because I find the up close loop uncomfortable to use as we front clip on our dog so its too short. Its also too easy for our large, still in training, dog to pull me off my feet because its so close to my center of gravity. The middle loop on this leash is the perfect balance of keeping him close, while still feeling like I can hold my own when he tries to pull. Weve had it for about a year and a half now and its held up really well. Bonus points for the reflective stitching and cushioning on all the loops instead of just having cushioning on the end loop.

> 3 dayBroken on first walk. There was absolutely no stitching on the middle handle, and it was only held together by glue. Very dangerous as my dog, who generally pulls, could have escaped into NYC traffic. I was lucky I was holding the other end loop. We had to cut his walk short to switch to a different leash. Unless you want an ornamental middle handle, look elsewhere.

Max and Neo Dog Gear is named after my dog Neo and my brother"s dog Max. Both dogs lived happy lives in Arizona. When Neo passed away, I began fostering rescue dogs. It became apparent to me that running dog rescues required alot of resources in both time and money. Max and Neo Dog Gear was started to help dog rescues with their never ending need for dog supplies.
We are proud to be able to offer this program which will provide a constant supply of dog leashes to dog rescues. While a simple leash may not seem like much, each donated leash allows dog rescues to reserve its funds for other much needed services such as medical bills, spaying, neutering, and dog food.
