Three things I didnt like: 1. Foremost, the stand topples over if you lean the iPad forward and tilted down. I got the stand so my daughter can perch it on our piano to take remote lessons. I had to put heavy books on the stand to get it from falling over. 2. It is awkward to hold open the jaws open while inserting the iPad. You really need a third hand and the chances of dropping the iPad while loading it into the stand are likely. 3. The jaws dont open wide enough to hold an iPad with a case. Given that the stand can tip over and you could drop the iPad while loading it means taking the case off is risky business. I returned my unit for refund.

A simple little stand to add some flair to your set up. The only problem...is that the holder doesnt seem to grip the iPad with force but works and doesnt seem like the tablet will fall off. Just wish the tension was stronger on the grip

This stand is really well built. It has a nice weight to it, and its very sturdy. You can adjust pretty much anything except the height, but thats not an issue for me since it mostly just sits on a desk. Love love love this purchase, very happy with it.

Does not hold well. Twists and turns on rotation. A regrettable decision. Look elsewhere

Excellent stand for the iPad 12. As long as you are not using a hinged keyboard, like a laptop. Would have gotten all 5 stars across the board, except my excellent Bridge keyboard MUST be detached from the iPad in order to use the Maxon stand.

Strong and heavy based. It holds our 8 1/2 by 11 iPad very well. Its very sturdy and that was a big concern of ours that it could get knocked over. We just leave the iPad in the holder and pick the whole thing up to move it to a different location. Works great!

Very stable. Perfect for using the iPad when you need your hands to type or paint , or play an instrument.

Very sturdy and stable. The thing I like the most about this product is that, unlike other case-stands, this can tilt in any direction, including downwards. This especially helps during informal video calls (with family, friends, etc.) when it is important to adjust the angle so that the camera is centered on my face, or on the face of my kids when they are talking to the grandparents.
