Maxxima G25 LED Light Bulb Globe Filament Bulb, 40 Watt Equal, 500 Lumens 2700K Warm White (6 Pack)

I wish I had purchased brighter ones. These save money, but not bright enough .

2 year update below. I bought 2 packs of these G25 bulbs for two bathrooms vanity lights above the mirrors (6 lights in each fixture) to complete our transition to all LED bulbs. I love smart home lights and gadgets but felt it was unnecessary to have bathroom lights be smart bulbs. Bathroom lights need reliability and honestly, smart home devices, features, and WiFi aren’t always reliable. The pandemic has showed just how true that is with almost daily internet outages. So, just as I don’t want smart bathroom bulbs, I also don’t have, nor do I want a dimmer switch in the bathrooms; I just want instant turn on and off energy efficient bulbs. My search for “G25 Edison led bulbs” yielded results of all dimmable bulbs. And most had reviews that mentioned humming sounds and other problems that I wanted no part of. When I finally found these and the great reviews I was elated! Couldn’t believe how hard it was to locate non-dimmable LED Edison lights in this size. All 12 bulbs arrived intact and functioning with a nice Edison pattern. I have a fairly large master bathroom and these lights are perfection in there. The size of the room definitely changes how they look in terms of brightness. They show you what you really look like and I would say these are in between daylight and bright warm light in the master bathroom. My other bathroom I installed these in is smaller and oh boy, are they bright! No way would I refer to them as warm. Almost too bright! But great to actually see yourself. Having to use 6 bulbs together contributes to them working as daylight brightness. Overall, I’m ecstatic over the look and output of these bulbs and highly recommend them! As for longevity, I’ve only had them a few days and that has yet to be seen. UPDATE 2 years later June 2022: All but one light are still fully functioning. The one (out of 12) not functioning still lights but is very dim. Also, would like to note that the too bright we felt in our smaller bathroom initially, disappeared within a week. Our brains and eyes got trained to the new bulbs. The pic attached is from now, two years later.

I had ordered 60 W filament bulbs from a different company and they were just too bright. These bulbs are perfect. I have standing lamps with no lamp shades and these bulbs give off enough light to see but at the same time dont hurt your eyes.

Bought these Led light bulbs because they were cheaper then at the local store. All 6 bulbs worked and puts off great soft white light. Plenty of light in small bathroom now

What more can I say. I got the 40w version to replace existing incandescent vanity bulbs. They look just like the old bulbs, but with significantly better life, as well as reduced heat and power consumption.

These bulbs are rated for 15000 hours but are not getting anywhere near that. We have used these bulbs for about two years and they have faded to nothing; they should last over 5 years based on 8 hours/day (we dont use anywhere near that). We only replaced two of the five bulbs in the fixture with these Maxxima LEDs, and the LEDs have faded to almost nothing before we needed to replace the other incandescent bulbs. These have a TERRIBLE lifespan and are not worth the money. Buy a different product.

These are absolutely awful. A day after installing them, I heard a loud crash in the bathroom. I went in and saw broken glass everwhere. The light wasnt even on, but the glass globe just simply broke, fell off, bounced off the countertop and landed on the floor. My kid almost stepped all over it. I am debating whether to remove the rest of them, as I feel very unsafe with them. I will see what Maxxima says about it.
